Incredible game!!

Dani Olmo has been underrated for a minute now. His hatrick against Bayern in Harry Kane's first game for them was just an example of his work.

It was a handball imo but its no excuse when Kroos had a prime Casemiro performance all game and ref didnt do anything edit: i've just seen a replay and before the handball there was an offside. VAR would've called the offside prior and not the handball. germans have no reasons to complain ab the ref, spain do

No handball because of previous offside that the ref didn’t get. Neither red card for kroos etc.

As a Spaniard that I am, it even seems strange to me that the referee did not call a penalty, but well the action could not have been clearer, the VAR saw it perfectly and the main referee was 1 m in front of Cucurella. Beautiful game, anyone could have won it., really close gsmeGoal in 88' and 118'. What more could you ask for.

It was offside apparently

Füllkrug was off-side when he passed the ball to Wirtz. That was why the VAR did not review the hand ball. How could you all not see it? Take a look at the play again, please. The ref may or may not have been wrong about the handball, but he was definitely right about not calling the penalty. Had he called it, it would have been cancelled.

When Ferran was coming i was like "YES finally Morata out for someone who can make the runs from behind" and when it wa shown Yamal was coming off i tapped out mentally. Spain won despite De la Fuente today, hope he learns to be more brave, he almost pulled off a Simeone bottlejob today for speculating on a 1-0 lead

Havertz had an awful tournament and he still gets to play the whole game? Unacceptable

1) Nagelsmann got his starting line-up wrong, but corrected it with his subs. de la Fuente got his starting line-up right, but messed it up with his subs. 2) Kroos should have received 3-4 yellows 3) Fullkrug golden chance at the end. 4) Cucurella has held it together pretty well all tournament, but was badly found out in the second half and during the extras this match.

Recent tournaments they were calling those all handballs.. Even less dangerous cross even shorter range hand touch while defender was down sliding was called... it was handball..

@@KoreanBeautyOwner hands were down, vertical to the body and in no way trying to move to stop the ball.. UEFA had advised all the refs before all quarter final games that this exact position would not be hands.. on another note right before the shot the German player inside the box that made the pass .. used his arms to control the ball.. that invalidated the whole play.. watch the video

@@KoreanBeautyOwner UEFA's pre-tournament briefing on handballs gave a specific example just like Marc Cucurella, saying it should NOT be a handball penalty. Arm close to the side, pointing predominantly down/vertically, and/or a position behind line of the body. #ESPGER #Euro2024

Methinks La Fuente took his star youngsters off when he saw the yellow card hail and figured it won't stop, so he crossed his fingers and chose drastically reducing striking power over losing one or both of them for later stages.

Anthony Taylor and Istvan Kovacs are sitting in some pub now, patting each other on the shoulders and laughing at the rest of us mortals losing our sh1t over their antics...

Disappointment for hosts. Could have potentially won the entire thing if they hadn’t met Spain in the quarters. It’s quite disappointing considering how strong they’ve look in the prelude to this tournament, and due to their status as hosts, they had lots of expectations. Dreading watching one of France and Spain in the final. Netherlands, Türkiye, and Switzerland our only hope

Embarrassing yet again. Yes we made it past a couple of teams everyone beats. But yet again , when it counts , they mess up. Well deserved loss . And I'm glad I don't have to listen to that " we can make it" babbling anymore. Germany is average and will be for years to come.

Germany played well this time, at least they didn’t pull a World Cup 2022. They had entertaining matches, like yesterday. Germany should be proud of yourself, with Naglesman (whatever his name is) those guys will improove in the future

The ball was heading towards the goal. The defender stopped the flight of the ball with his hand. Clear penalty. I hear comments... he didn't want to do it...he was moving his arm towards his body... Worst comment his arm was next to his body ...It was not it was 30-40 cm away from his body.

Not a pen imo, arm in natural position. Next game Spain have to start olmo as a false 9 ahead of the same midfield 3. Also swap Simon for raya and they win the euro

@@zoob29 yeah I kind of agree, when he recieves the ball I start praying he does not give the ball to the opposing team, but thanks to him we won a Nations League and he is the Zamora of Spanish League so he must not be understimated, he needs to train his passes and kicks

Nah, Simon is essential for Spain, he takes risks because the coach asks him to be the 11th field player, Olmo's goal originates from a long pass from Simon.

You were robbed? If anything just the penalty, in wich Wirtz was offside so the handball didnt matter as it came afterwards. But you cannot say you were robbed when Kroos had been deserving a red since minute 10 and didnt even get a yellow commiting plenty of faults and controversial actions.

Robbed? It was never a penalty. Fullkrug actually handballed it just before the incident so in reality the shot that hit Cucurella's leg into his hand should not have even happened. The referees have been pro Germany since the Switzerland game.
