Southern ITALY. This Village will leave you SPEECHLESS!
Hi everyone.
Thank you for joining us.
Today we travel to the beautiful Italian Village of Guardialfiera, which is located in the Lower Molise area. Not far from Termoli and Campobasso, and very close to a man-made lake that is also called Guardialfiera.
Although we had looked at property here for many years, this is the first time we actually visit this town.
We loved the old-feel of this place and how locals seem to take pride on the way their town and homes look.
I hope you enjoy this episode, as always please let us know what you think in the comments.

I really enjoy when you do these types of videos, grazie! I am also a bit of a cat lover. I am moving to Sicily from America in April and I think I will need to carry a small bag of cat food with me wherever I go! Lol Buona giornata, Paul

Beautiful. Thank you for your videos. I enjoy watching them very much. I hope you can go visit the town of Baranello. This is where my family is from. In August the town of Baranello has a nice feast where they reenact the traditions of a wedding ritual with the original costumes of back in the day and their customs. Thanks again.

Wow. The buildings there are in such good shape. It's interesting to see all the different size and shape stones used to build the building and they are still standing hundreds thousands of years later. It really is a lovely town. Love the gattinos 🐈🐈⬛

There must be a lot of empty houses for a population of less than a thousand. But what a pretty town.

Hi Kerry, the ones we saw were very well kept, didn't really look empty but some times it's hard to tell. Many peoples tend to keep holiday homes in these small towns as the air is fresh in summer and they're not far from the beach
Nice to visit but it’s too quiet for us. Still I enjoyed your video of the town, and its views are very beautiful.

Yes! In that lake, when it gets low there is a bridge called, 'Hannibal' - a general of the Carthaginians. He was one of the greatest enemies of Rome. Some say Hannibal marched up this valley where the lake is now.

You mentioned that you are from Australia but being Italian myself, I pick up a Spanish accent. Are you originally from Spain? These videos are amazing and I come from the Lazio region so very close. I live in the U.S however and own a home there but unfortunately don’t have time to enjoy.

Hey guys. ¿How are you? The lake was built by man. I had the luck that saw il Ponte di Annibale (1967, 1969 and 1971). After these years, the history was different.

where do the people work mostly?
@rossinniandco
Жыл бұрын
Some are retired, some have shops in town, some work the land, some work in bigger cities like Larino, Termoli or Campobasso itself. Imagine a suburb of any given city. Most people in a city don't work in the suburb/neighbourhood they live in. They have to commute 30min, 1hr, etc for work. That's pretty much how it works here.
When and where did you learn to speak Italian? How many languages do you speak?

Hi Cindy. I learned Italian at Uni. I speak 3 languages
