It's just every so often the children get enough toys together that they want to show off to their friends.

These are the original Himars. They removed the tracks and put them on trucks(Himars) for air transportability.

I’m just glad I live in the good old US of A.

My car alarm used to go off randomly and i found out my hood sensor was triggering it. There is a piece that pushes down a button when the hood is closed. It wasn't pushing down all the way.

This is Himars 30 years ago. The vehicle carries 12 rockets where HIMARS carries 6. They can reach out to over 65 miles and the rockets are now gps guided.

Germans in WWII had this system first called the Nebelwerfer or the "Screaming or Moaning Minnies". The sound of those WWII systems was crazy. The Germans predated the Russian system. Everybody else jumped on because it was effective. Peace Jono!

Jono, the Armies M-270 carries two reloadable six round rocket pods whereas the HIMMARS only carries only one on a truck chassis. Same pod different carriers are used. Plus the MLRS carries a double of the pods.

These were called Grid Killers in Desert Storm. A grid square being 1 square kilometer on a military map. One 12 missile salvo with those submuntions would destroy all life and vehicles in a one square kilometer area

While Russia is using everything in their inventory not nuclear, Ukaine has had its hands tied behind its back. Ukraine does not have control of the airspace yet is trying to do things the US would never attempt without air superiority. UK does not have long range capabilities other than prop propelled drones, effectively establishing safe spaces for Russia. A wider war (albeit non nuclear) would be short lived if US capabilities were released.

@@jskelly1979 Partially true. Protests that aim to "push" the political class "to do the right thing" will almost certainly fail. However, if youth and workers are equipped with the right political program they would be unstoppable.

My brother was in the first gulf war. He told me when he came home, finally... after "shock and awe".... This is nothing what the US miliary has. I asked him what? He said I can't, cannot tell you. I never asked him again
