His backyard is like a supermarket. He will never go hungry.
The magic of nature. Take care of a plant and it will take care of you.
I'm not even lowkey...I'm straight up peanut butter and jealous of this garden! He was an awesome person to share his home and fruits!

Hi in the Philippines we call it guyabano
Wow! Every part of soursop are medicinal. Used to grow them and uses the leaves for tea helps lower the blood pressure and blood sugar....🤙🤙🤙
This video was awesome. Thanks for sharing. Not only is the garden beautiful, but their kindness was unreal! I am retiring in Hawaii and growing a medicinal just like this. I want to be a blessing like this.
I live in New Zealand, zone 10, a Filipino was gifted Soursop and brought it to work to share, the tree was grown locally. I didn't even know it could grow here and had never tasted one before. Long story short: I brought my six seedlings in to winter on my kitchen windowsill yesterday. I hope you did the same with your seeds and now have at least 1 tree bearing fruit.
What a lovely man! I love how proud he is of his garden!
True Aloha spirit. Glad you had a good time.
Was at Lowe’s in Tampa, FL today (4-Jun-20) - they had a bunch of these in 3 gallon pots. Hadn’t heard of them before - think I will buy one.
Love his garden, you meet some of the nicest people at the local farmers market
Love it... wonderful people everywhere 😍😍😍😊😊😊
The mans garden is so cool. Love it!
I had no idea!!! This video really informed me!
Just found your channel because of the rambutan video. My gf is living in Ecuador now, tries all kinds of fruit there! I live in SW FL, bought a soursop tree a little over a year ago, and after a bout with scale, that has been taken care of (neem oil spray) and it is growing beautifully. Over 6 ft tall now, leaves are beautiful and plentiful, can''t wait for it to fruit! Thanks for your videos, they are all beautiful and so well done, my gf and I are both so glad we found and subscribed to your channel!
Generous and welcoming man.
Wow I did grew up with this fruit, and took it for granted.
Oh boy! I am so jealous!

Soursop revitalized your system your senses. It the fruit of pure joy.
what a great man. like your video n his garden lol
Wow what a cool tree! I have one of those growing in a pot in my house. I live in zone 9b so I am a bit weary about the how the local winter temps could damage the tree. I have kept it in a pot for about 2 years to give the tree time to grow in a protected environment. I am planning to plant it in the ground in my home orchard next spring. By the way your fruit garden is wonderful. You have some really nice trees. Thanks for sharing the video!
What a generouse man.
omg !!!!! You guys are in heaven!
Your videos are awesome thanks for sharing my mouth is watering lol
great video. thanks for posting.
Beautiful back yard perfect
what a cool dude!!! I need to meet him and give him some Vietnamese food
wow, great subtropical food forest, i love micro suburban grows like mine.
We used to grow giant avocados on the big Island...Soursop is great!
I thoroughly enjoyed this!! Such a great tour of his property and wonderful plants.
So so amazing, would love to have a garden like that one day!! Hope you guys remained friends 😁
Yum yum I’m eating one right I’m in heaven. also because I’m in Hawaii. This are tropical fruits. Love it. He must live in Hawaii !
that was cool
Soursop is of course, sour. But it you use it to make smoothie, it tastes wonderful, because you can add sugar, or condensed milk (sweetened) to balance the sourness. I used to drink it when I was in Vietnam. Here is Sacramento, CA, it is hard to find soursop.
His back yard is beautiful
great video. thanks.
Lovely
We call it ' Custard apple'. Used to eat a lot in my childhood days.
I love that fruit picker ..the rod is very long ..i can't get on that can go up very high .. very good video ,I wonder what he use to take care of his plants ...
Awesome video guys. Love people like you just met, Giving, loving earthy human in touch with nature. I too have started to grow loads of fruit tree and herbs. These are natures gift to the world. They will heal and protect you from the new world of mass produce chemical infused so called healthy food. If you can plant these types of fruit, grow them without the chemicals and taste the difference - amazing.
Aloha! Mabuhay! In the Philippines we call Soursop...'Guyabano or Abana'....sounds similar too. Hi Wendi was that Peter Phan walking beside you with the backpak at the start of this video...oh my...now i saw Peter in real...only got to see Tinkerbell for real...LOL...Cheers Wendi Phan...live all this video and the fruits all seems familiar toio...many thanks...and best regards!
Wow I didn't know it was Soursop in English. We call it "Guyabano" here in the Philippines.

nice garden
super jen zavidím
The best friut it will heal your body evem depression migraine cancer etc.
Nice dear ❤
I like this fruit
Many Plant Based Foods help to fight cancer...I can think of over 30 I have particularly studied. This one appears to be high up the list--primarily leaf extract, as stated---but likely the fruit as well (at additional minimum)...
Here in mexico In yucatan peninsula U found that tree wild Mayan ppl Still have in houses We have many of that fruit
His yard is so fucking vibrant, plants must grow super easy in that climate.

It was like looking through a pair of polarized sunglasses. :)
Here in Brazil, it is called “Graviola”
Where was this video taken? I have a soursop in Central Florida and even our mild winters causes problems for it. So I am imagine he must be located in a really warm climate for his tree to have lasted 25 years and grown that much.
If u live in zone 10+ you can grow it. It can grow in zone 9 but with protection
Ohhh, i really want this tree on my winter greenhose right in Russia) Cool man, cool vid, nice fam)

+TreeK SaintP This tree is very sensitive to the cold, even 60F is pretty cold for it. Best of luck to you if you ever try growing it. Some people grow it for the leaves to use as tea too. Spasibo for watching!
@BezNomerkov

+Wendi Phan Spasibo)) Yes, I had read about it a little bit, for our area its incredibly capricious tree will have to spend on heating and ventilation, but the fruit and leaves are worth the cost. If God willing, i will get that) Even thought about tranport 3 year old tree by ocean in a shipping container, but I am afraid that no one company can't provide him with the right temperature on all wayy to me, all offer got only refrigerators .. This theme I was hooked straight))) I think I'd better ask the guy from Coribe to send me this seeds and be patient!

Try Junglesop (Anonidium mannii) that's probably the biggest fruit in the world
The leaves is the one with anticancer properties, not the fruit . 9 leaves per liter of boiling water for prevention.
Wow I would love to know where I can buy soursap . I live in California
I had a tree like this in my yard back in Trinidad. This fruit is delicious

Wendi Phan Florida Im in South Florida, Fort Lauderdale is closest large city .. They fruit! 3 to 4 years. It’s size if it gets big enough it blooms! Tropical fruit trees seem to bear earlier. mine was from seed! I just planted one because I was in the mood! Ive had the fruit from Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Honduras And Florida. All are good and yes they all seem to be a bit different. When I get fruit I’ll remember you. Ive tried the tea but because I drink Basil tea its hard for me to like something else. I use AZOMITE quarterly on this tree. Plus compost. The fertilizer I purchase from the Palm Beach Rare fruit a tree show and sale facebook.com/RFC.PBC

trebor hgils You are in the land of exotic fruits! Mmm...it does seem that most tropical fruit trees can be grown from seed. I started mine from seed right now. Just need it to sprout! It would be so fantastic if I could get a fruit from you. Thank you in advance! :D

i live on oahu, my tree is just as big as his. they fruit for most of the year.
Can these trees grow in Central Florida, or do they need to be closer to coastal land? We have a Caribbean market that sells the tree, however I want to make sure it'll thrive if I plant it. Love soursop!
@mikeaman2008
6 жыл бұрын
Yes; It will grow in central Florida. Try to plant it in a sunny area on the south side of the property. If a building can offer a wind break and some heat in winter: the better. It will lose some leaves in the winter but will bounce back after the dormancy. If its a very small tree, try and provide some cover if there will be frost. Trees can get up to fifteen feet tall, and about half as wide; so plan to manage or allow for room. Fruits are large so let the tree grow out at least a couple of years after first fruits. Happy growing!

The soursop grow in south Florida... just like mangoes, lychees and longan, Jocote, Mamey and aspire, and mulberries, papayas , and cherimoya lol basically anything tropical grows in Florida

You can make juice from that fruit
I loveeee Guanabana. I'm gonna eat loads of it when I'm in Mexico. How do you do tee of the leaves?!?
@wendiland

Daniela Lindberg You use the leaves to boil water and let it steep for a while to allow flavor to come out. Do it just like you would when you make herbal tea. When will you visit Mexico again? Please eat all the fruits for me! hahaha

White Stallion Soursop do grow in California but only Southern parts in zones 10-13.
This tree needs to be pruned in order for it to produce more fruits. Cuz as can you see the tree is very high and the fruit too... It supposed to bear fruit in trunks and brunches haha
This fruit is very common in my place(Kerala)

Lisa Hill Soursop only thrive in zones 10-13. I believe Dallas/Forth Worth is zone 8. Perhaps give it a try. Good luck!
I have a tree but I don't know how to prune it ,I got it 2 years ago and it is no growing.
@Foodie_888

Charmaine Grant Pruning: Remove dead, weak or diseased branches from the tree with pruning shears in the spring before the leaf buds begin to open. Make the cut at a 45-degree angle, 1/4 inch above an outward-facing bud. If the entire branch needs to be removed, make the cut flush with the trunk of the tree. Prune your tree to a few leading branches and a few branches off those leading branches to yield big fruits. Good luck!
