I really like this woman’s voice, cadence and energy. She gets right to the point of things doesn’t ramble, and gives good, helpful information. She sounds like somebody who really knows what she’s talking about and wants to genuinely help others, rather than self promote. Good on her…what a nice bit of freshness she is🤩

I just got my seeds and planted them today thru my daughter, Rita II, who ordered them for me. Being aware of the health benefits of soursop, had I known earlier of its health benefits and wanted to use it today, I should have planted this soursop 5 years ago already together with my Cherry Trees that are now bearing fruits. Anyway, what is 5 more years to wait...!

Dec. 3rd, 2023. I got my first soursop sprout today after 9 1/2 weeks of planting them! I moved my pots from my room to my mom's porch after 8 weeks and just after Thanksgiving. I believe the change in germinating temperature may have helped as my mom likes to keep her house warmer with the heat on. It could also be I just needed to wait longer. Either way, I'm happy and it really is like a miracle because after 8 weeks I wanted to give up. I'm in Southern California. Shane.

I finished potting my soursop seeds on Sept. 23rd and it's Nov. 24th and they still haven't sprouted. I dug out the first seeds I planted on Sept. 21st and they look the same as when I planted them, no sprouts. I watered them good every couple days or so, didn't let the soil get overly dry. I'm thinking maybe it's because the germination temperature was supposed to be 75 to 85 degrees, but in my room I kept it 75 degrees or lower. Are the seeds still growable in a higher temperature environment maybe?

I finally got one soursop sprout today! It was in my bigger round green plastic planter. It looks kind of like a semicircle loop or horseshoe. It's been 9 1/2 weeks since I planted these specific seeds on September 23rd. I believe moving my planter pots to mom's inside porch after Thanksgiving may have helped to make a difference in keeping the germinating temperature warmer. Mom likes to keep the termperature warm in her house throughout the day. I was about ready to give up after 8 weeks of consistent watering but no sprouts. I'm glad that I didn't. I'm leaving this message for anyone who's at 8 weeks and ready to give up. I'm also in Southern California.

I have had them in a deep enough plant pot, with a plastic bag over it (with holes of course), and it has been standing in the window to get sunlight. I have been watering them almost everyday, they have been watered a lot though but the pot can drain so I thought it was fine.. could it be I watered them too much?

As a resident of Texas (USA), I tend to see Soursop fruits in HEBs and Central Markets, which are local grocery chains. There are some stores in Houston, TX that sells the fruit and you can collect and germinate the seeds. It will depend on your areas if they're sold locally. Otherwise, they might not be sold in your area, and you may have to buy and ship some from other areas. (Make sure they are reputable sellers! There are scammers out there!)

I'm growing them in pots since it's too cold for them in the winter and will need protection.

Mine died after one year! I’m in California, I have sun all day from spring to fall. In November to cover it, too much work! It still died!

I'm in Southern California. I tried planting the seeds on Sept. 21st to 23rd. It's now Nov. 24th and they still haven't sprouted. Maybe germination temperature in my room was too low at 75 degrees as I kept them watered every couple days and tried not to let the soil go dry.

I finally got my first soursop sprout today in Southern California after 9 1/2 weeks of planting them! I'm glad that I didn't give up like I wanted to at Thanksgiving after 8 weeks of waiting.
