Can't believe when I was growing up we had Coisty, Gascoigne, Laudrup, Gough, Goram and others all in the same team. What a time to be a Rangers supporter.

The mid nineties was the best time all round. There hasn't been a decent Rangers shirt since the France inspired one of 1996, save perhaps the 2000 away one.

Best player to wear a Rangers shirt in my lifetime. I'm 60 now and first saw him playing in 1978 as a 14 year old. On his day he was simply unplayable. He could've played in England but luckily for us he was a Rangers man to the core. Sadly he passed away too soon.

What a team. Watching the Rangers teams of the 90s was a real treat as a lad. My team based on the players I've witnessed in my lifetime would be Goram - Tavernier - Gough - Brown - Numan - Laudrup - Gascoigne - Ferguson - Albertz - McCoist - Hateley

That midfield would tear any midfield in the world apart Souness would dictate the play and just spray the ball about wherever he wanted to

On the day of the 1998 World Cup start the TV played the entire 1978 Scotland vs Holland World Cup game and Souness was unbelievable, passing balls left, right and centre like a Prosinecksi. Controlled the game. Yet in the 1982 World Cup we were screaming at the TV take him off. Souness said he ate something in Mexico and couldn’t play.

John Brown would be in any starting 11...the most underrated Rangers player ever..Best Value for money signing ever..Bomber was class in many different positions..Never let Rangers down in any game

Saw Baxter play many times. He was different class. Only Scottish player to be selected for a World team; twice.

John Brown for me was better than Terry Butcher, at least in the partnership with Goughie. I love Souey, and would have him in the team too. But instead of Durrant, I'd include the player Graeme recommended to us, Tugay - the most complete midfielder I personally saw at Rangers. Coisty and Hateley our best strikeforce, but loved Mo too. My favourite ever player is Jorg Albertz - I'd have him ahead of Baxter 🔴⚪️🔵.

Durrant would have been something else still a Gers great. Always a pleasure listening to Ally unbelievable team with a load of others missing

What a team by Super Ally. An alternative to his team for me with none of his starting 11 could be a 4-4-2 of Klos, Stevens, Nueman,Amoruso, Weir, Steven, Wilkins, B.Ferguson, Albertz, Hatley Negri. Subs. Woods, Roberts, Van Bronkhorst, Walters, Prso.

Brilliant by Ally .....wisdom with history and love for his club composed this 💙

Davie Cooper was the greatest winger I ever saw for Rangers. End of debate no exceptions.

That midfield is extraordinary. Obviously would have Super in, but he couldn't pick himself.

Yeah he really should have picked himself, but hes just being humble, for me him and hately was a formidable partnership, i still remember the way they took leeds apart at ellend road in the 90's

Nice one Ali... Super Cooper was awesome Willie Johnstone too. Jim Bett.. Ray Wilkins, Willie McLean, are some of my favourites, apart from Ali's XI

we might not have had them at their peak but Gattuso won CL and World Cup, Gio captained in a WC final after scoring the winner in the semi-final. Cannigia was a legend, Numan was one of the best LBs in the world, Henderson was one of the best wingers in the world, Micheal Mols pre-injury was one of the best players I ever seen in a Rangers shirt and Marko Negri is one of the biggest what ifs we have ever had and wee Barry was outstanding. Klos deserves a mention for GK, he has been overshadowed by Greigsy and the Goalie but he was a World class Keeper. Big Dado was a personal fave, loved watching him play for us

Some team that is. Thinking of others who missed out like Hateley, Jardine. Wilkins. Steven, Brown, Albertz, McGregor, B.Ferguson.

@@AffectionateBambooForest-hj8uj Stevie’s more of a leader by example rather than an actual leader. In our best years, Carragher Was the vocal leader and the organiser of our team. Stevie was the example set to the rest of the team of what the standards are. Souness is absolutely the captain of the All Time Liverpool 11. He embodies everything required of a captain.

Such a good team. Need to start adding subs cause there’s too many to choose from.

Can still Remember Davie Cooper in my Dad & Uncles Printing shop, in Hamilton, and at their club Hamilton Avondale. Quiet as a mouse - did all his talking on the field. Always liked to score from a corner kick and was lucky enough to see him do it on a few occasions, including his first goal at Ibrox against Clydebank, of all teams !!! Legends Live On...

Was present at Baxters rerurn to Rangers (which was more of a publicity stunt for then Manager Davy White as I recall). A not so Slim Jim trots out to be greeted with warm applause and a few twitterings of laughter . It was plainly obvious Baxter was not fit in any shape or form, no pun intended, and the twitterings became outright laughter at some points...............until........... Baxter somewhat found his legs, and, rolling back the years, split the opposition defense with a sliderule pass to create a scoring chance. The crowd was hushed for a moment, appreciating the play followed by Ohhhhhh. The game continued to its conclusion with nothing but admiration for 'Slim Jim'. I don't remember who we played or the date, but I was there.

I'd fancy our chance's against anyone with that team ❤🤍💙🧡

Kloss not getting a mention. Better consistency in my humble opinion than Goram. Numan was class, McCoist and Hatley up front all day long.
