Well, you have to keep in mind that the radio recording was, in fact, from a radio station transmission. This means that the original tape recording passed from the radio stations’s audio processing chain (which includes most of the times a dynamic eq and a very violent multiband compressor/limter), then summed to mono and then recorded onto a tape by a radio receiver. So what you are hearing are actually two “remasters” one on top of the other (the radio station’s one and the actual remaster), that’s why the William Paiva’s tape, even after a very good remaster, sounds a bit “less” than this recording here, even if it’s in true natural stereo and in higher quality.

How does something like THIS get lost, it’s amazing ❤😭

one month before fond my mind was found, i remember having a dream where my uncle(??idk) played the full version of fond my mind on his radio and I BEGGED HIM for the name and he didn't give it to me for some reason. i begged so hard i was crying. the vocals sounded all distorted kinda like this but a lil more..wonky? and like shaky. i also remember it being black and white and us being in the exact field that the fond my mind "picture" was taken in, just to the side. it's weird. i also remember having it like..EXACTLY A MONTH BEFORE. i don't remember the date but i remember having the dream on the same date the full song was posted. just a month before. (copy and pasting this from the other vid of the full version)

It's better to change the title as it was already found a while ago, for those who don't know it is "Feels Like a Wish" by the band Station K. Real talk, this isn't usually even my kind of music. I learned about this song just a few days ago in a lost media video, and tonight, "foooond myyyyy miiiind" pops into my head out of nowhere. Maybe one day we'll know who to thank for the earworm.

I'm from Brazil and I heard this song a lot with my grandfather on the radio, sad that they'll probably never find the artist.

@@saramarrisa7124No. Edde Edman “claimed” to make the song, which was a lie. It’s been one month since he said that, and one month since he said that he’d upload a remastered version of Fond My Mind. Just a few days earlier, a Redditor on the r/Lostwave Subreddit posted a screenie about his conversation with Edde Edman. The Redditor asked Edde for proof that he made the song, to which Edde said, and I paraphrase, “My nobleman. And why should I have to prove anything to you or anyone in the world? You’re so pathetic!” That’s all I’ll quote, because the message is quite long and it’s just Edde defending himself and saying that he’ll sue anyone who uses his remastered version. Obviously Edde didn’t make it, neither did DYXKI (who copyrighted the song and led to the termination of JayKay’s Channel).

If you really are Edde, I've heard some of your other songs and they really sound like fond my mind. But if you don't provide any proof, there's no way to just take your word for it, cause the real author could be harmed. If the song really is yours, you deserve credit for it.

One day later, it’s been confirmed to be Edde Edman. Most people thought he was a hoaxer, but someone who knew Edde has gave the intro to the song which includes previously unheard lyrics and is the same voice. We will get the full version tomorrow.
