Hello, thanks for the recording, this month I collected chestnuts and acorns from the park and secured myself with gas and a stun gun, I also took a simple Glock 19, a recording from the park on the "channel"... General greetings from Polish, I like to start the day with coffee and your pleasant recordings as I see from Sweden. Have a nice day! 🙄

I was honestly shocked to tears when I saw you using a car in the intro. I was subconsciously pretty sure you were either using a carriage, with stone wheels, pulled by 2 cows or at least a unicorn. Approaching on a fire-breathing dragon would have been ok, too. Or the ride on a self-made broom. But a car? A car????? The desillusion pain hurts SO bad!

It is useful to remember that an AX is also a sharp blade: you show exactly why! In my Gymnasium (Highschool) years, I went camping in deep snow high on a glacial hill remains. We knew so little!🙄🙄 Had we known about a stove like this or like many other similar commercial stoves, we could have had comfortable nights! (We did not have such nights.) We could not start a fire without resorting to 'scoutmaster fluid' (the comic name for kerosene used in Scout camping.) TODAY, I understand that light poles, cut with a folding saw and jointed with such a fine ax can be everything that is needed for a winter camp.
Someone is driving moonshine in the barn, and someone is building airplanes.
Being able to view & listen to all of the beautiful/compelling places in nature that you trek to is always enjoyable. Thank you. Watching you make the stove was a welcome bonus.

Handy axe work brother Swed, well done. I just got one of those vintage carbon steel cold handle pans, a 7" which cost me a fortune but happy to have it. Almost time for the other half of the lavvu to show up permanent. Great camp set up, fire reflector and good food. The miniature wood stove works like a champ, thanks for the tutorial on the build. Great video once again, filming and presentation. See you in the next one.

Pretty neat. Maybe add a spark arrester for top of chimney?
@Swedwoods
Жыл бұрын
Yeah and a flue damper maybe...But im not sure why i need those thongs...On the contrary a spark arrester makes the few sparks going through fall down directly on the tent. Sparks that exit a chimney without a arrester goes further away. Just somethlng I have noticed.

The prevention of wild fires could be a thing.. but I would never use a tent stove when forest fires are possible.
