3 DAYS CANVAS LAVVU HOT TENT - AMMO CAN PIZZA - CATCH AND COOK
Out for three days with my homemade ammo can stove and the Polish Lavvu. Multifunctional cooking with the tent stove and hiking. I remember now why I love lightweight hiking so much :) A few years since fighting through off trail terrain with 25 kg on my back and I don't miss it! Typical april weather with snow one second and spring, sunny warm weather the next. A lot of cooking this time and tried to make a pizza in the ash tray of the stove. A tight fit but worked perfect. It was delicious. Listen to that crunch :) Thanks for watching!

Good morning from Colorado. An old friend and I were recently talking, and the conversation was in line with your reply to someone who commented here. In part, "Always just do what you like and believe in it no matter what anybody says". He and I were talking about how much of most of our lives, are spent trying to live up-to someone else's expectations. The right job. The right salary. The right house. The right university for the kids. The list goes on. I'm 70, and I know I went through most of my adult life caught in that trap. And, it is a trap. I was divorced, and retired from my job, around 8 years ago. It was only then that I began to live up to what I expected of myself, practically telling anyone that didn't approve to kiss my---"backside". I've never been happier or more content. Enjoyed the video. I learn something with each new video you release. Stay safe. Roger

Of course...the jerk in me is curious as to the exact weight of a video 😝 But as I completely understand your meaning in this instance, I couldn’t agree with you more!
I keep coming back to this video, it's peace and perfection of a man at one with nature. Thank you Swede 😊
I'm like, "How's he going to cook that pizza?" and, bam. Didn't see it coming. The drone shot with the light colored trees...absolutely great! It gave me the thought that that could be a really good way to lead viewers into the forest, if done at the beginning. Moving away from the "civilised" world... Really love your work. Thank you.

I'm glad you like it. Sure enough for me because I'm all about image. But a lot of people want information. At the beginning many years ago people said to me: nice video but you will never get a large following if you don't speak. Now it's a silent revolution. Lesson learnt? Always just do what you like and believe in it no matter what anybody says.

Hey Swedwoods, man you were a bit ambitious on this trip. Haven't seen you camp with a big pack like that in ages, plus you had your drone. Phew, that must of been heavy 💪🏼😎 I don't know how I feel about the tent stove, it looked fiddly to me, lots of little parts. I don't see you using that one for a while. Lol. But that catch & cook and those drones shots were excellent 👍🏼 See you on the next trip 👍🏼

I stopped YT notifucations in my e-mail at my Google account. Impossible to find mails etc amongst all the notifications. Download KZread studio app in your phone. Makes answering comments so much faster. For post responses in threads in the comment section just download the normal KZread app and check the bell for notifications now and then. That's the way I reach ongoing discussions and post responses. But its not 100%. Just works a couple of days ahead to reach and get notified on old discussions.
