Im really enjoying all your content, I've linked your channel. It's just so good, level headed, informative, insightful. Brilliant stuff. I'm using a lot of your thoughts on my current build.
Loved this review! Often watched your videos multiple as they are so useful! Looking forward to the rest my good dude! Keep up the great work!
I'd love to see people conversions for feral and penal.
New sound quality is great
Yes! I didn't expect to get it, but now it's here. I can't wait for the other parts of the Solar Auxilia Review. Will they get release over the next days? Or will you sprinkle them in between other content?

@@Hearesy Amazing!
Is there no heavy support video, theyve been fantastic but got to get my tread head on
Propper grim dark that they use tercios. (Just like in the civil war) Cromwell the castellan 🤣
The way I understood Armored Fist, is that you could have a single squadron in a troops choice. Which means you could have 3 Leman Russ within that squadron and if you are going max unit allocation, you could have 4 Strike Squadrons in your troops, 3 in your Heavy Support, and the Command tank.

Without picking the book up I immediately think you're right and this was a brainfart whilst recording!
Im making a traitor guard army for 40k so i think ill use the solar rules for this! Looking to make an armoured fist cohort of 10 leman russes
solar aux ultra pattern at full 20 sections and 10 command is 130 lads, id though medics in two
Any chance of a superheavy review with the book and legacy units?

@@Hearesy yeah that's my only negative they are so detailed that it's a negative haha
The idea of doing an Iron Pattern Cohort really gets me going but whew the idea of paying for it at forgeworld made my wallet leap out of my back pocket & try to strangle me. On the other hand, if Forgeworld's greatest models aren't Edgar's S's Solar Auxilia guys they are the 30k Mechanicum models...
I really hope the militia and cults are better designed then these guys, but I don't have a whole lotta hope lmao. Great video, regardless!

Same. I made a militia army designed from last edition. But solar aux are struggling badly, I don’t have much hope for militia.
Would love a Solar Aux army but the game seems full of ap 4 and ap 5 weapons that sound like it would make it not that fun to run a list.

Also nothing to shoot back with. So yeah its a no fun army unless you go for hordes of infantry, which can be strong but again painting 200 bodies is not that appealing.
A wondering: Do you think they'll make plastics for this faction? With how expensive the current models are ($135/20 models), it's an untenable army to field with official models...
@Hearesy

No, no chance I dont think. New Plastics are great though and there’s always alt proxies!

There are still a lot of plastics on the way. So potentially. I wouldnt bother now the rules are terrible.

@@3v3rhard They're not completely horrible if you play certain ways... but that being said, you HAVE TO play certain ways to make them work decently.

@@midnightcoup2422 I'm actually using some Napoleonics to play "counts-as" until I get rules for the true Imperial Army.
