I'm so glad you and your family are all right. I'm in the Houston area, and we just had that skyscraper-busting storm last night -- I think about 600,000 people still are without power at this point. Do what you have to do for your family and yourself first. I've just found your channel, but I enjoy it immensely, and whenever you're able to take a breath and add to it, I'll be here enjoying it.

Glad you and your family and your home are okay. We got the storm this afternoon, 3 tornadoes in our county and 2 other counties flanking ours. I have 78 acres on a slope from the road to the ravine ~ 80 ft. When I went to get some ice for my coolers, the sky was blitzed with continuous lightning, cloud to ground 3-5 bolts going to ground. Started raining so hard I couldn't see the road. Still lightning all around. Got to my gate and down the slope about 500 ft, no lights in my camper, cats all outside, Sunshine came splashing through the water. I let him into the truck and waited an hour or so. Had a towel there and dried him off. When the rain became a light rain - though still lightning, grabbed the ice and filled the coolers and had water up to my shins. Went back to grab the food, put that on ice, grabbed Sunshine (my cat) and carried him in. Called the electric company, weren't sure they'd get power back before morning, but it came on about 11pm. I'm a native Floridian and I have never seen a storm with so much lightning and water. Thank God, no serious wind. Again, grateful that you and yours are fine but it's a scary bit of weather.❤❤❤

There has been so much of this kind of stuff for the last few months. I'm glad to know your family (and the others around you) are OK. Been through that kind of decimating damage, back in 1964, In Valdez, Alaska, when the HUGE earthquake hit us up there. Then, in 2007, we went through a similar situation as you just described, when we lived in Aberdeen, Washington. We didn't lose our home, but one of the HUGE trees out on one side of our double lot twisted off of its roots, and came smashing down on our roof. Then we had terrible rainstorms for a week afterward. What a mess. Praying for you all. Thanks for the report. Sending the basic info to our church's prayer chain, regarding your whole area.

Bro. Take care of things first. Don't worry about the channel. It will carry itself until you are back. We had a tornado come through here (Cherryville NC) last week and tore up a bunch of stuff. Huge old Oak trees uprooted, some snapped in half (which is amazing for a tree that has a 4+ foot width). My moms old house had a tree fall on it, luckily it just clipped the eves on the back, and ripped the power line loose from the meter, pulling the roof power pole off, so I feel blessed. It definitely puts a lot on your plate dealing with the downed trees and damage. Plus we had no power for two days. I was lucky enough to have Tmobile 5G home internet so as soon as power came on I didn't have to wait for cable. Take care of yourself and your family and community. We will be waiting for you when things are back to normal.

So glad you and yours are safe, I too went through Katrina (coast of MS), she was my fourth hurricane and my last. I moved north and traded hurricanes for blizzards. It's been a good trade so far. Hope all goes well for you and, as always, I look forward to your reactions/analysis, but family/RL always should come first.
