Today on Classics Are Better, I ventured up north near the Texas & Oklahoma border to a beautiful small town call Saint Jo! It turned out to be an awesome time with good people and some amazing classic cars & trucks!!
The quality was top notch as there were tons of high dollar rides and cool customs. I really enjoyed the small town atmosphere and besides the show, I was able to hang in a real late 1800s Saloon, watch American Graffiti in a classic Theater, and even got some delicious brisket at the famous Red River Station BBQ that host big name country music concerts regularly.
This was the first annual rod run and car show for the town and it went great. Most of the groups left from the Mid Cities/ Denton area to road trip up there, but cool classics came from all over North Texas. My friend Rusty is starting this annual show with the Town as a way to raise money for the Saint Jo Volunteer Fire Department and to bring together car folks and their families for a fun Saturday in a welcoming environment. Heck I was talking cars with a guy that turned out to be the Mayor!!
Saint Jo plans to make this an annual thing, so if you are in the area late October 2023, swing by and check it out, you won't be disappointed !!!
