One more tool in the tool chest to move snow Around The Yard. Light enough for one person to connect and move around.

You're welcome! Hopefully I’ll get it on the truck this winter and show it off again in a different format.

It looks like a great tool for most situation where you have open areas and dont have big storm amounts or mounds at the end of your plowed in driveway ..a back up cam would be nice too, best part is you are inside and warm

Right on, I had stumbled across this about 6-8 years ago when I had a truck and a need to plow over the grass on the Blvd. this really works well for a homeowner

Glad it was helpful! If we ever get snow in Minnesota again, I’ll get it back out. Maybe do another video on it.

I bought this when we lived in town. Allowed me to “clear” the driveway enough to get out for work, and then I could clean it up further with the Ariens snowblower later. It was also handy pushing back snow on the Blvd. Hope you have a great day Rick.

Just picked up the same plow. Been clearing snow with an atv plow and snow blower for nearly 10 years. I just picked up a Nissan Frontier and the older Nissan xterra will be used with the snowsport. What I like is that I will leave the back hatch up and plow in reverse. I think the visibility factor will be better when plowing in reverse. We shall see.

I didn’t think about leaving the hatch open. That’s a great idea! I believe I was using mirrors and the back up camera, but I was also doing mainly straight pushes. Excited for you, hope it works out!!! Have a great day Around the Yard! - Brent

@@AroundTheYard-MN I lowered the plow yesterday by inverting the mounting plate. So, I was wondering how much I would need to be turned around to view the progress while plowing in reverse. I opened the back hatch, and found that just by adjusting the windshield rear mirror I could get a great view on what I will be doing without the need to be turning around.. Now I am looking forward to some snow to see how it all comes together.

How do you decide what amazing tool to use next? Definitely another cool tool. Never seen anything like it. You got that wet heavy snow like we did here in NE Iowa yesterday. Very informative video Brent.

It usually just comes down to just getting the skid loader out, but this plow has been sitting in the shed since last year. I sold my old truck that I used to run it on and was contemplating selling the plow too. Now that I know it works on the Pathfinder, it might be worth keeping around. It’s definitely a different experience plowing in reverse.

That is pretty slick. I have seen them and wondered how effective they may be.

Darrin - It does a decent job. It isn’t going to scrape down to the payment like the bucket or blade on your tractor, because it floats on the ground with out down pressure. That said it is very effective over the lawn or like a wood yard trail, sort of bounces along without tearing up the turf like a steel blade would do. It’s also decent at spreading light weight materials like mulch or topsoil.

That is just a pure practical plow. Portable, functional and compact enough to store it outta the way. 👍 Never have seen one before. You have a cost on it?

I bought mine used through marketplace, I’ll say I paid right about $800 maybe a little less - don’t remember exactly. Snowsport makes 4 versions starting at $1300 for the 180 Utility Plow, up to $2K for the 8’ HD Plow (I have the 7’ version). Take a look at www.buysnowsportplows.com/category/snowplows for more information. Have a great day Around the Yard!

Selling tools (especially good ones) can be tough. I have a few hand tools I keep saying I am going to sell, but I already have it, so what's the rush? I may need it again

My guess is this will stay in the shed. Like I mentioned, it’s great for days where the temp really drops and it’s uncomfortable to clear snow in the open cab.
