Pretty hard to believe a couple of 14 year old kids run a successful business, make beer, drink alcohol, smoke weed out of bongs, cigarettes, swear like sailors, are ready for sex, caught in a love triangle and deal with a tragic death all in one summer. Would have been alot more believable if the main 2 were at least 16 way more realistic if 18

Love a summer vibe movie (that's why I chose to watch it on the 4th of July) and there are likeable elements here, but I found it to be a little too familiar in terms of movie tropes and a little too unrealistic in terms of accurately portraying young teenagers. One of the big turns at the end of the movie, to me, was extremely predictable -- I called it minutes before it actually happened. Felt kinda cheap. So yeah, somewhat fun and somewhat comforting in that familiar sense, but not something I'll rewatch.
I was looking at some reviews before I saw the movie and most reviewers were saying it’s just average and not really good, but I thought it was great to be honest. It had a lot of depth in my opinion, and the actors and actresses were pretty good, especially moose.

Video was filmed in my hometown. This is what i remember of the summers in the 90s when i was growing up from the trailer. I havent went and seen it yet but i want to just because it is my hometown and looks good.
Great review! I saw this at the Early Access last Wednesday and . . . I'm glad you had such a good time! I was not so much a fan lmao They didn't feel (or look) like 14 year olds to me haha The coming-of-age moments worked well but the raunchy comedy, not my fave haha

This sounds like a good movie too Bad there not advertising it more and it's not getting as much love as it should getting such a limited release but it's getting a high RT score so maybe that will change I'm going to try to go see it 😁👍
