Hello Im Jacob Hubbard and I am a lover of movies and I do not call myself a critic cause critic sounds mean. Im original and fun in my reviews and I hope you enjoy my videos and just remember this is the internet and it is ok to have a different opinion. :)

As a filmmaker, I really appreciated your review! I'm excited to see this movie since the second Deadpool kinda disappointed me. The time travel rendered the conceit of Wade learning to feel like he can be a father with a vibe that's too haptically sweet. That aside, the excitement (or potential) of the action felt hampered by the claustrophobic settings and spaces. And the kid, unto himself, wasn't all that interesting, mainly existing as a symptom of the system that hurt him. But it was amusing; there were some really clever jokes here. Thanks for sharing! Dropping you a like!
How can we get you to review a movie ??
you can literally torrent any film ever made for free
My cousin is also called Jacob hubbard
How does this rank compared to Longlegs? Because that movie really let me down. I expected so much more but it’s probably because I let the Longlegs marketing hype it up too much. My biggest gripe was for Longlegs to be “elevated horror” the characters acted like horror cliches. And I don’t mind a slow burn but it has to stick the landing and LL didn’t.
Very different in storytelling but I found this movie to scare me more than longlegs
I saw this movie for the first time today and it popped up in my recommended lol. I'd give a B- personally though. The color grading is strange, Justin Chatwin is bad as he always is, the family subplot is filled to the brim with cliche after cliche, the ending is very abrupt, corny and anticlimatic, and the movie sometimes shifts from being a campy B movie, to trying to be a serious sci-fi horror film. With that being said, I loved the sense of scale, which John William's excellent score bolstered immensely. I think Tom Cruise, Dakota Fanning and Tim Robbins are all quite good, and there are some genuinely intense sequences, like the scene where their car is swarmed by desperate civilians, or when the ferry is tipped over, and when the tentacle and later the aliens enter the basement and they have to hide from them. Not a movie I'd considered a Spielberg classic, but I enjoyed it enough. It's closer to his lesser sci-fi efforts like A.I, than it is to movies like Close Encounters or E.T. Good for what it is, but could've been a stronger film for sure.
Film critic to film critic, how do you get invited to press screenings, man?
I dont usually get invited. Public can show up and get their before it fills up
@JacobHubbardReviews so you just gotta get lucky and hope there's a screening near you, if you're not invited. But also, how did you know about the screening you went to?

Heck yea i'm pumped
Deadpool & Wolverine is my most anticipated film this year!
Can you tell me about the story of this movie like what's going to happen in it I'm not aware of mcu universe that much
Fantastic Review Jacob I Can’t Wait To See This Movie Im Seeing It Opening Night
I hope wanda is in the movie but im sure she isn't
Does watching it on Netflix count for free as well??? 😂😂😂 Shittiest bore yawn snooze fest I've ever seen.
See I disagree. I feel it focuses on the devastation, aftermath, and trauma tornadoes bring. I survived a bad EF4 two years ago and it did a good job of pointing out the people taking advantage of a tragedy and the trauma surviving one has you carry. I loved it but I feel this one glorified them less than the first film
Daddio is a great movie and Dakota is mesmerizing. Master class in acting and original film about human connection that is so lacking these days. So good. Didn’t want it to end
Really looking forward to this. Some folks are saying there is going to be mass fainting and vomiting at cinemas. I even read that this could be the first movie to be the direct cause of death. So, obviously this is the scariest film ever made. The question is: Why hasn't it been banned if it is potentially this dangerous?
I enjoyed the director's previous film Caveat. So definitely looking forward to this. The mannequin looks like an updated version of Morty from The Fear (1995).
You're the third person, Chris Stuckmann and who not, but you are the first person I decided to hear talk about this....broke the curiosity. Keep entertaining bro 💯
I just dont want it to suck Jake....thats literally all i want.
Nice review, but please don't give any energy to the idea that the moon landing was fake. I know neither of us were there, but imagine being one of the tens of thousands of people who worked to get us there, or being one of the two astronauts who actually landed there, having to hear people say they faked it...
Everyone is different 😊I’m sure a lot people enjoy this movie it’s all good ! But this movie wasn’t for me 😊it was to disturbing for me to watch ! But hey I’m not saying it’s a bad movie lol if anyone likes a good horror movie good for it enjoy!
Hello Jacob I enjoy your reviews of the movies. Thank You!🙏👍💯 I saw the first Twister when it came out I really like that movie. Is the Twisters better on XD or Imax? My husband and I want to go see it tomorrow.
So I never have gotten to see an XD movie. Now Imax I believe it was awesome to see. So my gut will go with pricing 😂 but my answer is Imax
@@JacobHubbardReviewsThank you for responding 😊 God Bless Your Heart!🙏😇
If you went from giving this movie a D- to an F, why didn’t you put it on your Worst Films of 2022 list?
Marketing team deserves a raise for sure because it was storming like crazy at my theater too...Glad to hear you dug this one, dude! I watched the original 1996 Twister for the first time a couple night ago and thought it was solid enough, which is how I feel about this new version too. I didn't care about anyone other than Glen Powell and the tornado sequences were less intense than I was hoping, but the visual effects were amazing. Great review, Jacob!
I still cant wait to see this movie. Its a real shame that we might not see the next chapter
Hey Jacob, if you feel it…
Twisters should be fun.
I saw this in 4Dx is so good
Soundtrack releases Friday
Bill Paxton's son makes a cameo
Apparently they had a script with bill Paxton in mind
It's a standalone sequel not a reboot or remake yes there nods to the original
I love this movie ❤❤❤
I almost viewed this film as an anthology displaying different mental illnesses.
hmmm what's your best availability? Like mornings or afternoons, evenings, weekdays, weekends, I have a Fair amount availability...?
Very busy next two months. Will work something out in the future onward
Awesome review i wasn't big on this movie.
Hey Jacob i figured out the Streamyard thing would you like to do a collab stream on my channel sometime?
Try to figure out sometime in the future 👍🏻
I can't believe the guy who directed the King's Speech and Les Miserables (2012) directed this movie. What a fall from grace. This movie had all the potential in the world IMO. A F tier movie if I ever saw one sadly
very good review bro. good job.
This movie cringes me out so much lol. I don't mind movies with a feminist agenda, but when they're out to get men, I just can't stand them at all. I don't want to feel ashamed for being a guy, if that makes sense
Only two films have ever actually legitimately disturb me.. This one, and The Blair Witch...
You should do a retro review for 'The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie' for its 20th Anniversary if you haven't so already. I did one earlier this year on March 14th, The Day That Krabs Fries.
I actually just watched this movie for the first time all the way through last night, and yeah, it's a whole lot of fun, but I will say that if it wasn't for the action scenes, this would be a very generic movie. Also, funny story, the first time I ever saw anything from this movie was also on TV, and it was the drive-in scene. But actually, my introduction to this movie was the Twister ride at Universal Studios which starts off with the opening scene which also scared the shit out of me and me afraid of storms as well.
No one walked out in my theater
1 did with 40 mins to go…out of 5 other peeps lol
@circasurvive9891 why ?
@@circasurvive9891 unless the movie is really bad, I never walk out of a movie because I want to see it to the end.
I watched the new 2024 one today!!!
and?

Damn I never heard about this concept. That's such a weird concept of a movie. Spy Kids 4 kinda ruined gimmick movies for me ngl lmao
Amazing movie
Oh I forgot to ask btw, do you rewatch old movies right before you review them, or do you review them from memory?
Rewatch
Twister is fine, I seen it twice as a kid and I revisited it in 2021. I recommend the Nostalgia Critic's review.

Yeah!

Not a perfect movie by any means, but I do enjoy it quite a bit. I miss Bill Paxton every day though
