Illumination is back with the sixth Minions movie we can call it now because this movie has lost Desicapable Me rights.
In the first Despicable Me movie in seven years, Gru, the world’s favorite supervillain-turned-Anti-Villain League-agent, returns for an exciting, bold new era of Minions mayhem in Illumination’s Despicable Me 4.

The best way I can describe this movie is that it's pure nonsense. Everything that happens has no reason for it to happen. The studio knows that no matter what, we're gonna see these movies, and they don't care anymore, just like we don't care anymore. I still love the first two 'Despicable Me' movies, and 'Minions: The Rise of Gru' was ok, but I'm so sick and tired of these movies. It's time to put them to rest. Also, this whole plot with the family having to go on the run because of a bad guy was already done in an episode of 'Family Guy' a long time ago.

JACOB! I have enjoyed this franchise in the past, but in this one it felt like they were more interested in doing a bunch of minion shorts and threw in a thin storyline for Gru to make it a feature length movie. I didn’t hate it, but I instantly forgot about it. Kids will love though, and I guess thats what matters. Great review!

I've never watched a Despicable Me movie, and I don't plan to. I'm just curious about it because I bought some of the movie stock on the Hollywood Stock Exchange. It's currently valued at H$284.65. Each dollar equates to a million dollars at the domestic(US & Canada)box office. The stocks cash out after 12 weekends. This movie was projected to make about $160 million on its opening weekend (starting today through to Sunday). That leaves about 124 million for the next 11 weekends which is about 11 million per week unless it does better. Despicable Me 3 only managed $264 million dollars domestically over the course of its theatrical life. Hmm i'm unsure if i should sell now or wait.
how do these movies keep making Billions of dollars?
