Really nice explanation sir.👏🏻 I'm facing a problem input 240V side after SMPS power up. 1. I have installed SMPS (Make-Schneider) in one of our Control Panel. 2. As per our Control Scheme the Power Supply will be ON all the time. 3. We have some auxiliary circuits.,we are facing continuously failure of one of the Auxiliary circuit called Annunciator rated 240VAC 4. To identify the root cause of the failure we made many scenarios of testing In one of the scenario we Isolated SMPS by disconnected input and output connection (by removing Fuses) then tested 24 hours, During this scenario we don't face any failure of Annunciator (240VAC) 5. Then we suspect the SMPS may pollute(may be Spike) our input 240VAC. 6. Based on above findings, we jump into next scenario this time same circuit we connected input supply(240vac) to the SMPS and Output (24VDC) has been disconnected,then we started testing with in 2 minutes that Annunciator (240vac) got failure. I believe we almost close in to the root cause of the issue. My question is while using SMPS there will be n number of switching happens whether this will create any spike voltage return to my input voltage 240vac, and spike voltage range? If yes how to mitigate,if you face similar issues please share. I saw in this video u suggested MOV what rating will be suitable.? Your reply on this highly appreciated..

u r correct, this happen due to hormonics generated by smps high speed switching. Add more hormonic filteration before smps. you can try with any other pcb which have inbuilt smps, take 230volt AC after filter circuit and give supply to this smps.

சார் வணக்கம் fm 12v லோடு க்கு transformer பதிலாக கப்பாசிட்டர் மூலமாக 12v எடுத்தால் (105j,1m Resister with bridge)ஓல்ட்டும் லோ வோல்ட்வருகிறது. எஃப்எம் வேலைசெய்யவில்லை.ப்ளீஸ்.
