I don’t believe the IWA M15 was displayed as well as it truly performs, as there was a wind shift during filming. It puts out a lot of smoke!

Hey i wonder, 3 mammoth taped together, fuses together, couldnt it be used as a cheap alternative to the better ones? Seeing the cloud i cant help but wonder if 3 together wouldnt be about enough
Thanks for putting this high quality video out, definitely gained a subscriber. BAN THE ATF!!!!
That M15 was respectable. I wish Taginn was included in the list. It took me a half hour to get certified on their site. Maybe we can get a showdown in the future.

I can't find any distributors of taginn and my email address gets rejected during registration. Did you have any luck ordering their products after you took the p-top test?

The EG MIL-X work the best of all of the smokes we've tested, even better than the M15

As a veteran Battlefield player smoke grenades are invaluable in a squad 😆. In all seriousness picked up a handful of the EG twin vents and someday will try to get better ones

Thank you for your service. My grandfather was revived by a medic in BF5. A puff of smoke and he was gone. Never got to thank him.

very helpful video. thank you so much for this demo across the board
IWA seems to be the way to go. Short test to get your license from the company to get. But good gear
I've been looking into the pace defense reloadable M-18 clone its $110-$125 and you can disassemble and clean it. I've never seen any videos on it I'm sure there out there. For someone who does mil sim events or air soft it seems like the way to go since you can easily retrieve it. I have experimeted with all the examples shown in your video except the defense technologies violet smoke. As I've gotten into pyrotechnics the most cost effective way it to make your own smokes. If you got the money the IWAs are the closest single use to the real M-18. The IWA certification test was quick and easy to complete basically common sense. For some reason I have tried to acquire some Taginns to test and can't get my email address to work for their registration to take their certification test (P-TOP) and noone ever responds to my emails. Anyway good video comparison!
Again thank you.
Make your own for the best performance and price. 3d print your fuzes and buy your ingredients online (or even the hardware store if you know what you’re doing).
Appreciate the comparison. I firmly believe in access to smokes, flashes, etc for all. I barely used them when I was in, and they are nowhere near as dangerous as the government or movies claim they are. There's no reason civilians should be barred from them

When I try to buy the IWA devices it saying that I need some sort of verification code. How do I get the permit in order to be able to buy these devices?

There is a simple “safety course” you have to take on their website. Once you complete it, it gives you a code to put in every time you try to check out moving forward.
@RAIDER8388

It's a simple safety test. You make an account and get the certification via email at the end. Keep your cert account number.
Remember guys, with a ar15 can launcher and the m15 you cal absolutely have a smoker grenade launcher
The EG18x is a good smoke grenade
I've known of enola gaye for awhile; paintball 🤙
Per the IWA website, they require a professional pyrotechnic certification in order for someone to buy any of these

That is nothing more than a brief safety class you have to complete, then you may check out at will with your cert number.
Great video. Didn't know we could get the m14,15 type
All the IWA stuff seems to be regulated on their site.
I will just huck big vape clouds and disappear like a ninja, ez
Would you be able to contact IWA after the smoke failed to deploy when you needed it and cost you half your team or your child's life? We all should be able to buy M18s or whatever else is made for the military with the same or better quality. The second amendment is supposed to prevent the government from doing exactly what they're doing, stopping the people from owning arms of war.
Have you ever compared EG-18 to these products?
Could you tape 4 $2-3 smoke grenade to make more smoke?

Be easier to make you’re own smoke it’s very simple and you can make them as big as you want just experiment I make a 10 minute smoke that’s spectacular!
having not handled any myself, I dont know, but ive heard the chemical reaction happening inside smoke/gas/oc/etc grenades can be very hot. is there any risk of fire if say the can landed in dry enough bush or trash? or is there any risk of burns or discomfort handling a smoking grenade? rather know before whiffing a throw 😂

There is the risk of unintended fire with any pyrotechnic devices, however, most commercial devices like these go through a very strenuous testing process and many regulations to help prevent it. There was a small black patch left behind by these devices but no sign of ignition in the field or large spread.
smoke grenades save lives.
Great video and great demonstration, thanks. It's unfortunate that ATF tries to frame these things as something more than just simple signaling devices. As an aside, you referenced bro vets discouraging people from purchasing stuff like this... What bro vets are you following that are doing that? The ones I've seen typically are making the same sort of content as you and are encouraging of civilian preparedness. Is bro vet the new boomer for the ass-end of jokes?
the 2a says everything the military can poses, the civilians can own it too, the gov violate are rights on the those type of arms.
