Make your life easy put some rubber grease on the new bush for assembly lube also put some anticize on the threads of the bracket bolts so much easier Also check anti sway bar part number so you know the correct diameter bushes to use before ordering.

i would use a small paint brush and baste on some multi purpose grease on the inside that wraps around the bar and on the outside where the bracket goes over the bush,, this make it easier to replace the bracket,, and also the grease inside prevents premature wear of the new bush,, anytime, lads. your welcome

  • @CarsExposed

Thanks for the tip mate, i had quite few people commenting about lubricating the bushing ill probably use silicone grease for now on, probably the best choice of grease so it doesn't degrade the rubber cheers 👍👍👍

@@CarsExposed oh the only thing is - i changed to powerflex bushings at the front. and on the back i have standard new bushes. maybe that is the thing. i tried to find powerflex bushes for that diameter but couldnt find with 19mm. any ideas? should i change the antiroll bar to 22mm maybe and then put powerflex bush.

shhh i just found 19.6mm bushes for the rear lol. PFR85-515-19.6 powerflex. so is that okay if the antirollbar is 19mm?

and when i continue to search. looks like 18.5mm is for my car. Powerflex PFR85-515-18.5 19.6mm would be for skoda octavia 2 lift but from 2010-2013, i sent some enquiry to powerflex - hopefully i will get some info soon
