@Myles Stanford Contests it's called a run. Did you listen to the dude say "recreate his run"? Timestamp is all ready for ya!
I think this is my favorite skateboarding series. It's so awesome to see all this stuff and hear the backstory.
My 1st board when I was 13 (and I'm 49 now) was one of those Vision's Mark Gonzalez with Tracker trucks and some Bones wheels. Seeing them here was cool af.

I never had it but I was jealous of my friends who did (that and the Hosoi Hammerhead). I had a crappy Madrid until I delivered enough papers to get a G&S Chris Miller the next year.
a lot of history in this one
We need more Skatehoarders!! Steve is the man
Gonz doing his contest run on the street was so rad. The fact that he knew all the tricks still is so cool. I have that Natas sticker too!
I love Steve Rodriguez, I skated with him a few times in like 2006 at Brooklyn Banks and he taught me how to sort of wall ride these things there, god I miss those days and the banks
Damn that beastie board is fucking priceless! 5boro NYC OG right here kids. Listen up and learn some real skate nerd history.
Can't believe Steve said my name (about the photo wifh Rodney). What a fantastic man. Big reason why you felt welcome at the banks. Thank you sir.
no one gonna mention how dope his pad is!?
those scrapbooks are incredible
The first skate video I ever had was the SolsticeX5Boro "12212000" on VHS. It will always hold a special place in my heart.
Another Great episode! Keep'em coming! Love the History, the stories and the memorabilia! 👊🔥🤘
That all-white full dip Beastie deck is amazing. I still remember listening to their music all the time while trying to rip on my friend's mini ramp. That deck will no doubt be worth a lot of money in the future. It should be in the Smithsonian.
begging for more of these, please!
Awesome history and memory thanks for share steve
I even like the way SR organizes his BOOKS! Nice little "book bank to book bank" he's got going on there. 👍
i saved every board i have ever had, my collection is huge. one thing i regret is riding my muska rising sun, i knew it was a sick board but i didnt think it would be as legendary as it is. the graphic is unrecognizable now. if i never rode it i could sell it for so much. my brother bought it for me for my birthday when i turned 14.
The fact that he organizes his books by height
The stories sound like a good time.
Super cool piece ! 👍🏻🔥
the most epic gonz collection!
YEAH JAMES!! MILWAUKEE PROUD!
MORE SKATEHOARDERS!!!
That gonz board that Steve told the story about had Matt Rodriguez level of loose trucks
That L.e.s board is so dope esp when you know most of the history and seen some of those tricks super 🔥🔥
I remember when that 5boro vid came out, Steve. Thought it was super sick. Fun to see you mention it here.
Intense Energy sticker is so sick. That was the first real skate shop I ever went into in like 2000. It was in Nutley, NJ.
thank you
I always comment too soon and get way more hyped. I want that Peking duck to hang on the wall! Never saw that one before.
All of those original Vision Gonz decks....thrown out 😢😢😢😁

Think of how many of our parents tossed decks or sold them for a dollar at garage sales. My dad threw a few up into the rafters of his garage so I've got a few left but who knew that nostalgia would hit so hard?
I wish I had saved a thing or two
Damn if Steve hung out with my mom he could take her scrap-booking to the next level
Maloof money cup board was sick.
dope,,, nyc
Woooohooooooooo
I've got a 1997 Thrasher Magazine with Mark Gonzalez on the cover on ebay right now.
Nice
He has the TIBOR book yuuuup
5boros was so dope in it's infancy
SO RAD!!!!
Yooo shout out to KrudCo. Skate shop Rochester NY! That's so dope he fks with Krudco
I thought the title said Matt Rodriguez... But Steve Rodriguez is dope too.
Can we get a crowdfunder to get those books digitised and online somewhere? Seems like a crime not to have them shared!!
I had Paul Rodregues and Jeremy Rodgers sign this Bob Burnquest Proteq helmet and I have no idea where it is, I think I sold it, that was pretty stupid since I probably got nothing.
5boro
Gonna be needing Geoff Rowley, thanks chief.
Krudco 585.
Zorlac? Fred smith punk size? Walker Nightmare?
Favorite thing I will watch today hands down
That dude has the kind of face I would make for my character in NBA 2K20
damn he designed LES ?!
Please show the board while talking!

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
pat guidotti is the best.
Animal chin is all over that place.
Dammit! Almost 1st. Got 2nd so I guess I'm last.
A little background music would have gone a long way. It's like a college lecture on algebra
I've shown you the last four boards with signatures but it's not like me to have a board with signatures. This guy's a kook at the end of the day. Fact
