Lyrics:
I hope you're happy now
I could never make you so
You were a hard man
No harder in this world
You made me cold and you made me hard
And you made me the thief of your heart
Winter is cold oh!
But you're colder still
And for the first time
I feel like you're mine
I share you with the one who will
Mend what falls apart
And turn a blind eye
To the thief of your heart
Oh you lost
Oh you lost all
You lost all
You lost all
I'll never wash these clothes
I want to keep the stain
Your blood to me is precious
Nor would I spill it in vain
Your spirit sings
Though your lips never part
Singing only to me
The thief of your heart
Oh you lost
Oh you lost
Oh you lost all
Lost all
Oh you lost
Oh you lost all
Lost all

This is the song that I will always remember Sinead for. What a voice! R.I.P.
Stunning performance. There never has and never will be anyone as gifted as Sinead. Best voice I've ever heard.
One of my favorite songs ever ❤
There is no one like you Sinead. We miss you so much.❤
Back in the day I bought that track and played it endlessly. I really can't believe it peaked at No 42 what an absolute travesty - deserved so much more. The song itself is awesome but her vocals were just stellar. RIP Sinead

She was such a stunning looking woman when she was young. But I don't think she believed she was. Very sad to hear of her passing. I pray she finds peace. xxxxx!❤️💞

She was beautiful, talented...so powerful voice. Is just sad that when people need the most, empathy, love, support they get loneliness. Now you are in the hands of God. Rest in peace

Straight bel canto singing, sang through her own accent and natural voice. It’s such a pity more of today’s female singers don’t sing like this.

She is absolutely right, we all need to forgive and accept!
Wow, what a song. She was just prolific, but nothing was cheap and easy. Everything was fully felt, and deep and beautiful.

i like how she has the word "forgiveness" written on her chest
I heard her voice after the song and missing that and if i need this song i must listening to any time but very often i repeate it. Its better than the rest of music that came out . I like it years ago and now, it goes older with me and hope she come back. I now not for real. But maybe. R.I.P hear smile and her eyes + voice the best. ❤

Rasgar...🙏🕊👩👦🎶

Feminine goddess energy. What a void she's left by leaving us.
Always liked this song. (The movie it is from is a good watch, too.) Glad they actually had her sing this time. Top Of The Pops and other shows around the world that have artists come on and mime/lip-sync while the studio recording is played never made any sense.

If she's so smart she would just be herself and not hide under a religious costume. Both Islam and Christianity have got a horrendously barbaric and disgusting history, but she jumped from one into the other, instead of just standing on her own two feet on the ground and not grounding herself on a religious platform. Just because she can sing doesn't make her "inspirational". You wouldn't be who you are without that mess to look up to? wow you're a flake too.
