I have only ever felt "mothered" by my dogs. And I mother them. I, like Sinead am not comfortable hugging hoomans. I wonder if she had any pets?

Right now, my mother is in hospice with my dad, I just traveled back to visit my parents at the Hospice House, she fell hard in January and cracked her femur. My mom fought valiantly to live, to take care of my dad, who has had dementia for over 10 years. This song hits so hard right now, because I am the eldest daughter and I grew up with my mom, she was so young when I was born. Now I am mothering her and my dad. I pray 🙏 for strength ❤

I love this song so much, it seemed so familiar, I sang along, just realized this morning, that I have a cover of this song done in 1999 on “The Western Wall”, by Linda Rondstadt and Emmylou Harris, that’s how I knew the song, I just made the connection. I loved dear Sinèad, read her memoir that I got in 2019, reread it again, when she passed. I hope and pray she is with her Shane and her mother, her mother was seriously abusive, but Sinèad forgave her & dearly wanted to see her mom, wanted so much to repair her broken childhood.

Ireland has been lucky to priduce some amazing singers over the years, but Sinead was in a league of her own. Unbelievable voice. Such a loss to our little nation 😢

I didn't now what kind of childhood she had... What a pity, now I know where the pain and suffering in her look comes from. Being hunted by depressions and always fighting against them mixed with hard situations in live is quite a hard thing. I could really understand her if she's just loosing the fight, when she missed her child under this circumstances.... But how really sad that is, that she already left the world. What a feeling in her voice... What fighter against her inner war... I keep her in her in my arms for all the moments when she missed someone who just do this too her. Hope she's in the arms of his son know. ❤️What a singer...
