Lyrics:
I'm dancing the seven veils
Want you to pick up my scarf
See how the black moon fades
Soon I can give you my heart
I don't know no shame
I feel no pain
I can't see the flame
But I do know Man-din-ka
I do know Man-din-ka
I do know Man-din-ka
I do
They're throwing it all this way
Dragging it back to the start
And they say, "See how the glass is raised?"
I have refused to take part
I told them "drink something new"
Please let me pull something through
I don't know no shame
I feel no pain
I can't
I don't know no shame
I feel no pain
I can't see the flame
But I do know Man-din-ka
I do know Man-din-ka
I do know Man-din-ka
I do
I do
I do
I say I do
Soon I can give you my heart
I swear I do
Soon I can give you my heart
I do
Mandinka
Soon I can give you my heart
Soon I can give you my heart

BRILLIANT TRACK SINEAD VOICE UNIQUE
I can’t think of any woman who can rock a shaved head like Sinead. It didn’t minimise her attractiveness. She was blessed with such a beautiful face to begin with.

The point is: SHE WANTED to minimize her so-called attractiveness. She was more than a pretty face. Why can't some people understand that? She was an enormous talent.

Why the fuck are you saying things like this? How do you miss the point so hard with such an absence of shame? Fucking. hell.
Rest in peace 🙏
That's Straight Up BADASS!💚💚💚💥💚💚 If that don't move you , nothing could.
God she was so beautiful! The shaved head just emphasized that elfin, vulnerable face. This was my personal favourite song by Sinead. She was such a one-off, when she first did the Grammy's singing this song she basically created the lezzer look for the next 20 years! Not bad for a straight girl! As troubled as she was talented, I hope she's with her son in heaven right now.

Can you try to understand that she's more than a pretty face? She had a stunning voice. Why do some men think it's all about her prettiness, or not prettiness, as they define it? She railed against these limitations you men place upon her.
This was pure gold Rip Sinead
R.I.P. Sinead O’ Connor. What a talent, her voice was so powerful and full of energy. May she rest in peace.
The bravest songwriter & performer Ireland has ever produced. We love you Sinéad.

Her singing voice and persona captivated me in the 80s. I miss her presence on Earth. YM

REST IN PEACE, RARE TALENT. REST IN COMFORT, GENTLE SOUL. REST IN POWER, BRAVE WARRIOR WOMAN. NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN. ALWAYS TO BE MISSED FOR HER TRUTH, HONESTY AND GREAT INTELLECT. HER TREMENDOUS TALENT WASN'T EVEN THE GREATEST GIFT SHE SHARED WITH OTHERS. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

She was an anti-white racist. Good riddance.
Another Irish legend taken before her time, bless you sínead now you're free from this messed up place, enjoy paradise with Shane and Dolores and Christie dignam ❤,🙏💚🇮🇪
I think it was 1987 - it was the first time I ever heard her voice and it gave me the chills.
This is my favourite song of Sineads. I was bewitched by her as a teen, watching her videos over and over. I saw her live at Glastonbury in 1990, she was incredible! I’m so glad I got to witness this incredible woman perform. Bless you, Sinead. Rest in Paradise. I love you ❤️
A revolutionary look for a woman in the music industry at the time. Sinead looked and sounded stunning!

Love you Sinead, thank you for sharing your art and truth 💚✨🕯️🎸🎤🌌
Sinead, you have graced with age and are the most beautiful voice in the world
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ FOREVER...
Her passing was such a tragedy. She was an absolute legend of a woman. Her work was fantastic, but what's more impressive is that she stuck to her guns and stood by her beliefs until the very end. She was an icon for so many. I grew up in Ireland in the 90s. Her music was prominent in my upbringing. Her attitude was amazing....imagine standing up against the pope in Holy Catholic Ireland! It was unheard of. My biggest regret is that I never got to meet her, and thank her for the impact she's had on me. Be you. Be weird. Be different. Stand by your beliefs, despite what other people may think of them. Rest easy, Sinéad. I hope you're finally at peace.
😢 you were THE GOAT Sinead! Your voice, your heart, your strength & activism ❤
Fantastic performance and capturing.
R.I.P. you were one of a kind. Thank you for sharing your passion and fierce yet angelic voice and vision with the world. 🕊️ 🍀 🕯️ 💔
I remember watching this as a 14 year old. She looked and sounded like nothing else I’d heard before. Truly unique. Be at peace. Innallillahi wa innallaehi rajioon (to God we belong and to God we return)
