I fell asleep on my dining room floor after work once and my girlfriend took my boots off my feet. It blew my frigg'n mind. Her untying my boots woke me up and I didn't even understand what was happening. I thought she needed me to do something or wanted me to go somewhere. Never crossed my mind she might just be doing it because she wanted to be nurturing towards me. My standards might be low in relationships since this act of kindness and care didnt take any money, time, enerergy, planning, etc., but I was more in love with her right then than I had ever been before. Because he's on the air, he probably doesn't want to mention the sexual things you can surprise him with. If you have been in a relationship for a while and feel comfortable, you can dress up, (maid's outfit) or be nude ironing/cooking when he gets home, just something that is out of the ordinary. I had so many tricks up my sleeve when I was married that kept our relationship going. And before you all start bashing me, my husband was a fighter pilot and never asked me to work...ever. So, in exchange for being grateful, and being able to raise my son without daycare, I showed him my gratitude in different ways that didn't cost anything. A surprise nude massage with candles in the room is great too. Let me know if you all need any other things to do!! What a great subject Matthew Hussey!!

As a guy...this is 100% true. There are evolutionary reasons behind this but I won’t go into them (as they are often misinterpreted), but trust me, this will work. As long as it’s not done 365 (I don’t know why I’m telling you not to do it everyday as I really should be), but yeah, definitely change it up, something that builds upon fantasies, or is unexpectedly sexy and feminine (like the cooking or ironing examples). Men are EXTREMELY visual, and although sex isn’t everything, it’s the basis of attraction. Trust me, this stuff works.

The 5 love languages! This book was such a huge eye opener for me. My husband and I were only 20 ish years when we read it and I remember feeling like I was given the secret codes! It's not too long of a book, it simplifies different personality types into 5 categories of how people feel and express love in their natural language. My husband and I have VERY different love languages and I know our relationship wouldn't be as amazing as it is without this knowledge. Not only did I learn how to show him love in his language and vise versa, but I recognised the things he did for me in his own language for me from then on. I know it's a popular book and people have often at least heard of it. But Go Read It! Please! They even have different versions written for different audience viewpoints. ~Nita*

I read that book for one of my college courses last Spring (2018). I originally wanted the copy for singles, but I read the one that's (mainly) for couples, and I *still* loved it *far* more than I thought I would. Whenever I do enter into a serious relationship someday, I would really love it if he read that book. At the very least, I'd want him to take the quiz to find out what his Love Language is and we could read about that (and my primary Love Language) together. I think that that would make it more fun, too! ^.^

yeah, sadly most of our modern women are self-entitled, spoiled brats that only care about spending money and being dominant. Note, I didn't say all, I said most. The other women are the ones with the happy relationships ;)

I truly live Angela questions, and the way she care how to express her caring nature in the way opposite sex could understand as well. I truly admire Matt's answers and love how energetic he is the way he putting out advices to help two counterparts to come together in more harmonious relationship. I didn't listen to these types of advices very much in the past, due feeling not ready for relationship, but recently I have come to my senses that's never gone to waste for being curious and learn about strategies and techniques to help one another understand eachother better. One thing I do every now and then when my husband comes home is take off his shoes for him. I know it sounds strange but he is tired from work he usually will sit down for a few minutes and talk about his day so i sit there and listen then maybe come around to the back of him hug his neck and give him a kiss then as he talks i take his shoes off. He seems to love it! This isn't an everyday thing i am not his maid but once every couple months he enjoys it. Plus, I don't like shoes to be worn in the house so i am really killing two birds with one stone!

Most important, as women often we do know how to offer, but we don't know how to accept (scared of being seen as a pretentious or gold digger etc). And it's as precious to know how to gracefully take a compliment, a gesture a gift, that it is to offer one. So don't offer in a transactional manner, he bought me this so i'll buy him that, cause often it comes from a fear of not wanting to owe anything to the other. Which is a trust issue. Make sure you know how to receive unconditionally, so your relationship don't look like a transaction. Xx

1. Bring him his coffee in bed 2, Make a scavenger hunt for him, leaving the first note on the front door for when he gets home from work and then hide little treats throughout the house for him to find.... with you as the last treat! 3. Leave his favorite CD on his steering wheel with a sweet little note. 4. Leave a post it note on the bathroom mirror telling him how incredibly sexy he is. 5. Take him out on a surprise date someplace silly.... like mini golfing, or bowling. 6. Buy a bottle of wine and some snacks, and leave a note on the front door telling him what park to meet you at. 7. Send a goofy card to him at his work (if that's possible), if not, leave it on his car for him to find after he's done. 8. Surprise him with a movie night... rent the movie you've both been wanting to see, make fun snacks, and cuddle on the couch. 9. Leave a home made coupon for a foot massage in his sock drawer. 10. Give him a back rub while you're watching TV together. There a ton of ways to show how much you care.

all that is a crap. it is silly women's thing for a women or sissy. a man need not any card, note, coupon, coffee and all that. a man can make coffee by himself and notes is just a sugary romantic bullshits. a man need from a woman something what he uncappable have alone and something simle from heart, warm of woman's soul, her kindness, hug, sex, interesting personality to talk about, open sincere heart, normal deep warm-heartened relationships of two mature human being. But all that coffe in bed or note and card that all is just for teens or small girls.

It's from the book, The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman. You can find out which one your guy responds best to, as well as what you respond to as well. They include *words of affirmation *quality time *receiving gifts *acts of service & *physical touch.

What is the result of your LDR ? You can send had written letters , dried up flowers from the walk you took when you were talking to him , take him “shopping for food and clothing, ask him what he would rather eat or want me to wear for the dinner , make your dinner and eat it together on the video, take him for a drive in the country side, it somewhere interesting. I even took him to my school. Sent him small gifts , dried up leaf garland for Christmas.

Matthew, it's funny that you mentioned, watching something he likes or something he really wants you to see. There is a very special friend that had been going on about TWD, I finally sat down and watched more then one episode, I think I'm on season 5.... I think 😏. I gave it a chance and I changed my mind about it. It's pretty suspenseful, which I can do suspense. I'm really liking it. I just don't like horror movies. He was right about it! It's a little-lotta-bit late😝. I wish I could tell him I'm finally watching it, and he was right, it's a good show😆 hehe. There was another movie I finally watched, I wanted to watch it with him, but someone ruined that for me. It was Pulp Fiction, I ended up liking that one too. Then again too little to late 😜. You know when you wanna talk about stuff, at the same time, you only wanna talk to a certain person, about said stuff. So frustrating 😲

Ask him to do something low stress like go for a walk together (for as far as possible). Exercise helps beat the blues and getting outdoors is best. If you can borrow a dog so much the better. Or go somewhere there is a pond with birds and feed and watch them. If you live anywhere near the sea go for a barefoot paddle, so good for the soul. If he won't go out open all the curtains and windows (weather dependent!), put on some upbeat 80s pop music and try to cajole him to do silly-assed dancing with you. If he won't but is laughing at your hot moves, keep dancing, sing too! If he runs away then stop! If all else fails make your best chicken noodle soup and settle down with a funny movie. Also explore together the cause, finding a good counsellor and natural antidepressants such as 5-HTP and St John's Wort. I've endured periods of depression and had my then other half said hey, look at this, I'd have been more likely to try it than the Spawn of Satan SSRIs that the docs usually dish out. Best wishes to all who are troubled by depression, it's a real bitch but with the right support you can come through it.

i have a friend who thinks that no body cares about him f.y.i he doesn't have a gf and as a good friend i try to show some care by saying good things about him and how good looking he is flattering him just to make him feel better but every time I'm doing this it goes up in his head thinking that i have "hidden desire" for him which is very annoying!!.. his doing this to all girls!.. i care about him but I'm just simply annoyed on how he react in that situation.. ggrrr!!!...

I don't wanna sound rude but kick him out first, and next time, go get yourself a man that respects you. A quality woman has a man waiting at least 1 year to start living together. The best option is always marrying, because there's no real love without marriage and there's no real love without patience and knowledge of the other. If he doesn't respect you is because you let him enter your life so quickly without stating the conditions to be respected. You're like his mother and he's your teenager son. There isn't much you can do with this guy. Just stay single until you have read "Why men love bitches" by Sherry Argov and have watched all Mr Hussey's videos. They really shed light in how love works. Finally, my parents helped a lot I always talk a lot with my mother but my father gave me the best 2 tips ever: 1-Please stop talking so much, a woman has to be mysterious. 2-You always talk a lot about how many guys you attract but you stay with none, you'll never marry acting like that. Am seeing a guy right now but it hurts to understand that he really don't care much about me, he can't take me for a dinner, not even a movie, not even for a drink, he can't order even an uber for me to take me home, and he expects me to go home in the night alone without escorting me, if we happen to meet in the evening at his place, the place is untidy, no food to eat and he can't even ask me if I have eaten or not, he'll just offer me wine and then he's all over me kissing 🙄🙄 that turns me off, if he's going to work in the morning I need to wake up too and we leave together without even breakfast, he don't cook he eat out like everyday, there's no place to cook in his apartment......... Etc Am planning to tell him we ain't matching at all, he's the opposite of a guy that I would like to date!!

You don’t have to deal with it yourself that causes more problems for yourself and the relationship it means a lot to speak about stuff

The best thing you can do for your man is let him be in his own home alone. Make him his favorite meal, order whatever he’s been wanting to watch, game, movie, fight, whatever. Take the kids and gtfo. Men need their alone time just like women need time to connect. When you come back DO NOT comment on the mess. When you come home have dinner picked up from is favorite place, with his favorite beverage. Give him a big kiss, put the kids to bed, and slip into something sexy. That’s what men want.
