AAA MY ENGINE EXPLODED!!!!!

Following through the guide and actually making a system do exactly what I wanted made me so happy, I feel like I've unlocked a bit of childhood wonder, tysm

So glad there's updated videos for stormworks. Trying to find answers is impossible with things from 4+ years ago lol. Subscribing so I can gain more knowledge!

I just found out about this game a few days ago and your channel alone has me keen to pick it up asap. End of this month for sure. Your content is so good its insane. One suggestion is to organize your vids a bit more maybe and for the beginner guids do please talk about the interface and whatnot. Like so far in this vid all I was looking for to the 2.5 min mark I am at right now is "If you press Q". I know its mundane when you are so proficient with things. I was actually watching Automation game +BeamNG drive stuff which I play alot and that let me here, the interface HOW of things is a big part for newer players of games like this feeling out a purchace for a time sink. For people new to engines I like to explain it as, an engine is an air pump you add fuel to.

You could just hold that button for a few seconds to start the engine. An engineer can't have it that simple of course !

omg thank you so much for this tutorial, I had been struggling with the idea of engines for a few hours, i didn't realise how deceptively simple it is overall, and I even learnt a bit about irl engines! honestly your tutorials for this game are insanely useful, i used one or two of them to fill in the missing gaps of info i couldn't figure out on my own! this game is so much fun (too much fun xd)

Thanks for your videos, I really need them. The only thing I may suggest you is when you build some demonstrator assembly, move it all the way to be closer to the work bench so you don't have to walk a few km per video, 😉😅

Spent two hours trying to build an engine last night that wouldn’t work, completely missed the air port underneath the power output. This video solved my problem in the first 30 seconds 🤣

Did the same last night, while my internet wasn't working for some reason. Found out the hard way by taking out the engine and going through every single connection.

If you have the clutch limited to 0.95 max, it will protect the gearbox from breaking :)

Very nice Tutorial and Video, thank you! I find it personally too clunky to use two inputs at the same time. Throttle and Clutch. I know how to drive Manual, but i just cant get over this in stormworks. It feels just so weird :D I need a automatic xD

My boat runs good and after like 3 minuites the engines die any clue why?

Had you tried experimenting with putting a gearbox on then to a generator so the generator generates more (as you kind of do this in the vid haha)? Also for newbies watching this, pretend there are belts and pulleys stuff in there occasionally in place of all the pipe driveshaft thingies.

I hooked up a medium engine to a small generator but it wont let me connect to anything that uses power

How did you move the whole platform up? Thanks so much for this video. Starting the throttle at 0.25 is enough to start the engine and have it run, but I'm sure you know that by now lol. Your creations are top shelf.

What do you mean by moving whole platform up? And engines are able to run from .15 throttle, tested it.

@@bombbombov2984 By platform I meant the whole creation, I thought platform because the engine was on a platform, but I did mean creation (unless there is a better word for ir). That's good to know I'll be making some adjustments. I apologize iof my typing is hard to read or understand, I have visual issues.

ah, yes push button to throttle instead of the toggle one, i see my mistake now...
