I didn’t even know you could just make a tank out of blocks so useful and great video

Really solid tips! Before testing should you separate all the planned compartments belowdecks? I don't know how much effect the weight of the walls will have.

small and med boats can get up to like 40m/s if u use multiple gears, especially ones that skim on the surface with a flat hull, I have been struggling however to maintain that speed because the front lifts up out of control or the boat jumps in and out of the water. I tried to use control fins unsucessfully (maybe I did it wrong), have also been experimenting with a ship design that has propellers in the center the idea being that the bouyancy on the ship rear would help prevent nose lift (still working on that ship). Anyway I would love to see some design tips on how to make a hull capable of high speeds like 30-40m/s while still being stable if ur interested in doing a vid on that because so far I was only able to find a vid analyzing speed boats(with flat bottoms and propellors at the back) Also would be nice to see a vid on what is the most fuel efficient hull shapes

also just an update incase anyone reads this, I was able to massively stable out my tip at high speeds but the formula i was using was [ x*(-64) ] instead of *4 from the yt guide, on the ship i was testing which was a sharp steep hull at the bottom i was reaching 38 m/s before the propellors (side - mid) started leavign the water my findings is that if you keep your craft steady enough to allow it to climb in speed, u can achieve very high top speeds using a gearbox system

Great ideas for videos! I have boats that can be stable and reach that speed :D I can for sure make a video on that! Thanks for the comment and information!

Do 2 and 4 block long wedges still create excess drag? Also, I've noticed some odd behaviors with props, like, small props can be spun faster, with less power and do not inhibit the speed of boat regardless of the size. It's like, speed of the prop is the only important factor and the larger the prop the more inefficient it is

@Mathias ok so to clarify, if the block is placed its fine but if its placed as a mirror its not?

@Mathias ah I see, it's unfortunate because with larger vessels needing much more power and modular engines being a whole thing to set up, it really locks you onto one particular bow design unless you like burning extra fuel just to have a Sligh better looking boat
