Simple Animation (with Animation Breakdown) using Clip Studio Paint

Фильм және анимация

This is just a quick animation clip I made using Clip Studio Paint.
She's supposed to be playing on her phone.. even though it looks like a random box.
This took approximately 17 hours to finish but most of those hours are on inking and coloring.

    i've always noticed when I watch anime, they tend to keep their shading in place sorta. Or how they animate without doing frame by frame idk I'm bad at explaining

    oh my gosh thats really helpfull thanks though? I feel like i'd be alot easyer and more effective to use photo / video refrence as things get more complicated it might be a bit dificult to do the 3d refrence and the poses would look alot more natural

    Thanks! Yes! Acting out the action and using a photo or video reference is definitely more efficient. I just wanted to draw a different angle for the hand so I used 3D but it didn't look the way I wanted in the end haha.

    Very nice and helpful example! I'm going to use a mix of photo 3d, video and acting for my reference while working. Or rather I have been. I have been studying a lot lately as wall as animating. I've been finding my preferred style. Working on new KZread Video opening and endcards!

    How did you get the 3d model to animate to the key frames though? I've had such a hard time doing it because when I do it changes the model for every frame

  • @shir0802

    @shir0802

    Жыл бұрын

    You can put the layer with the 3D model into the folder of the key frame (animation cel folder). With that, every time you make a new key frame / new animation cel, the 3D layer will also be copied to the new one along with it's previous pose. 😁 If this method makes your CSP lag a little bit especially if you already have a lot of key frame folders with 3D in it, once you're happy with the pose you can duplicate the layer with the 3D model, rasterize the duplicate, then hide the original 3D layer.

    @@shir0802 huh, thanks for the solution but that sounds Uber scuffed. Is there a more simpler way to do that? Because if not I hope they add an update so that people like you don't have to jump through hoops to animate these models

    Clip studio paint has a materials folder where you can drag and drop 3d objects like people and furniture on to the canvas.
