Right on. I think you'll be really happy with it. I liked it so much that I ordered a second one for my next AR and now I'm going to take the Romeo 5 off of my 16" rifle and put it on my Aero Precision EPC-9 build and replace the red dot with the Sig 1-6 LPVO on that rifle. I think Sig makes great optics, especially for the price they come in at.

@@sawtoothtactical404 nice . I’ve done some research on the Romeo 5 and became impressed by the reviews apparently The Romeo 5 has seen some military use, such as by British Special Air Service (SAS) operators, but it is not used by the US military. It’s no slouch when it comes to fieldwork though, and it has been adopted by law enforcement agencies, including the FBI.

Cabelas had these for under under $100 for Black Friday a couple years ago, bought 4 of them and they’ve come in handy. Best budget optic out there.

Yeah. After I got my first one for $100, slightly used, when I bought my first AR, I liked it so much that I bought a second one for my second AR. Now I'm building an Aero Precision EPC-9 and I'm going to take the red dot off my rifle and use it for the 9mm build and get Sig's Tango MSR 1-6 LPVO to put on the rifle. I've looked at it and the glass is super clear and it is very high quality. I think you really can't beat Sig's value, when it comes to their optics.

Mil Spec A2 irons on top with a 45 degree offset mount for RMR with shake-awake. Fixed stock is good with this for riding the solid stock up on the side of your shoulder around corners in the house using the canted RMR.

The Sig Romeo 5 is a great budget optic. I believe they’re manufactured by Holosun but great quality under the Sig brand. Easy to zero and holds that zero well. I love it on my 556 platform and adding one to my 300 BO as well. Highly recommend it. It’s way better than those cheap Amazon gadgets for sure. Very reliable in my opinion. Great video.

You're exactly right. If someone is looking for a cheap red dot, it makes no sense to get some Amazon garbage when you can get the Sig optic for just a little more money and have something that you can actually trust. I do believe that you're correct about Holosun and the Romeo 5 being manufactured by the same company. The two optics look the same and have the exact same features.

My AR Pistol has an 11.5" barrel. Pretty much perfect for being maneuverable, while not losing too much velocity and terminal ballistic performance of .223/5.56. That's the one I have set up, primarily, for home defense. It's just a little easier to move around inside the home.

In my M&P 15 Rifle, I have the Palmetto State Armory 3.5lb. Match Grade Trigger. It feels amazing and breaks super clean and light. In the PSA AR Pistol, I put the Fostch Echo II Binary Trigger. It is about the most fun you can have in a semi-auto firearm. In Echo Mode, it fires on the trigger pull and on the release, so you can dump a mag really fast. It was a pretty heavy trigger, at first, but I replaced the backup disconnector spring with a lighter one from Trigger Depot and added a bushing from Militia State Armory to shorten up the trigger pull and it's an amazingly fast, light trigger now.

I just bought a Romeo5 and I think it's great. I'm going to pair mine up with the Juliet3 as well. I haven't done the research so I can't say if the extra features on other high end optics justifies the price. I just took a look at Aimpoint. They have a 3XMAG magnifier. With and without a mount and the difference is about 170. Now, the 6XMAG-1 comes with and without a mount also and the difference is almost 400. The mounts look like they are the same mount but I could be wrong. If they are the same, why would the mount be over double the price on a more expensive magnifier? Ok.... the mount is made for both 3x and 6x so they are the same. The mount alone is 208. You can save 200 if you get the 6XMAG-1 and mount separate. I hate shady shit like that.

I agree. I'm all about quality, but the Romeo 5 has served me very well at a much lower price point than something like an Aimpoint. I do plan on getting the Juliet 3 magnifier eventually to pair up with it. From what I've seen, it is a great value, as well, and it's made to pair up with the Romeo 5 perfectly.

I appreciate constructive criticism. This video was recorded and posted a long time ago, when I was first starting my channel and learning how to do this KZread thing. Maybe I need to do an updated Romeo 5 video, at this point. I'm actually planning to do an LPVO vs. Red Dot & Magnifier video within the next couple of weeks and it's going to feature the Sig Tango MSR 1-6 LPVO on one rifle and the Romeo 5 red dot with the Juliet 3 Micro magnifier on the other rifle. Hopefully, you will find more value in my newer content. I feel like I've gotten better at this since this original Romeo 5 video was posted. Hopefully, you will agree. Thanks!
