For the past 2000 years you fuckers have been quacking about how he is coming back, but still no show. Guess he went to get milk huh?

Ive been getting closer to god lately more and more .. I’m still new so some days have there battles .. Some are harder then others . The negativity crosses my mind of if there’s truth of the Bible. I know it’s evil whispering doubts in my mind and in a way I never realized I was wanting some truth behind the book … But I never looked it up cause I just want him to see I’m going by faith .. It seems like the closer I get the harder I’m tested . Today was one of those days . I didn’t feel right but I kept my mind and faith up thur the days troubles . Praying, listening to the Bible, motivational Bible videos and in a way it’s like god knew what I needed and bam !! THIS pops up . I literally cried . Every time I talk with him he comforts me in a way I can’t put into words . He’s patient and guides me thur . My love for him grows everyday and now my faith is stronger then ever ❤️🙏🏻 It’s like he’s telling me , Come child , I’ll show you who I am ❤ No need to be afraid for I will always be with you even if you feel like your lost . I’ll find you 🙏🏻

Historians don't determine what is and is not historical based on their passion for history. They do it on the basis of evidence. Assuming the biblical text is literally or historically true is not doing history. You need to decide whether you want to be passionate about history or whether you want to be serious about it.

@@brendanokeefemusic- WE are "Christians"- it means "Christ follower". Jesus was THE CHRIST, The Messiah. It doesn't make sense to say we have "made Him a Christian". Yes, He was Jewish and a Hebrew. Orthodox (Traditional) Christians follow the Old Testament which prophesies the Messiah's coming hundreds of years before His birth which Jesus quoted Himself, and we also follow the New Testament which are historical documentation of His life, teachings, death, and Resurrection which were written by either his Apostles or those who knew the Apostles personally, after Jesus's Resurrection and Ascension.

In Jesus’s time scripture was memorized and you had to be a Rabbi to even be allowed to memorize scripture. BTW “The Bible” was not even in print until 1455 and even a hundred years later you’d be put to death if you owned one. Me saying “we made him christian” is saying that here in the west we’ve made western Christianity to suit our needs. My argument was that people are mislead and just follow whatever their church says without question. It’s sad because in doing so people have no clue what they’re believing in

The Gospels ( Matthew, Mark, Luke, John- the separate books/ accounts of these particular Apostles) were believed from the beginning to have been written by the Apostles themselves: Matthew, Luke, John, for sure- Mark may have possibly been written by a scribe, but even if it were, it changes nothing. There are no internal inconsistencies between any of the Gospels, these historical accounts are fundamentally the same, just written from 4 different men's perspectives. They find a simple letter or word mistake (" a " or "the", or a dropped letter, that sort of common thing) here and there, but nothing important. If they were "carbon copies", they would be suspect, and none are. The Gospels were written anywhere from 2 to 20 years after the Resuurection. We have over 5, 200 manuscripts and pieces of manuscripts of the Gospels- far more than ANYTHING else in antiquity. The earliest fragment is in the John Ryland museum in London dating from around 125- 175. The early Christ followers demanded eyewitnesses - the men who lived and knew Jesus personally, or those who knew the eyewitnesses, to recall the events of Jesus's life, teaching, crucifiction, Ressurrection, and His bodily appearance to over 500 people afterward to spread these accounts by word of mouth, so the Apostles and the other witnesses did this. When the Apostles began to age, they began recording their history which established Traditional Christian Orthodoxy still used today. Josephus-a Pharisee during Jesus's time wrote of Jesus, there are other Jewish accounts where it is stated they believed Him to be a sorcerer ( miracles), there are Roman accounts of Jesus,and Polycarp, Tacitus and Plutonius also write of Jesus- all either immediately following His Ressurrection or from early- to-mid first century. If we must discount historical records and manuscript evidence as well as eye witness testimony as evidence of Jesus and His life, teaching, death, Ressurrection, and bodily appearances to over 500 people afterwards, since Jesus died and was raised around 35 AD, historical records reference Jesus and the Apostles, and the gospels are recited by word, then recorded, and are being referenced by early Church Fathers within those first 70 years after Christ's death, we'll have to discard much of the world's history- including our own U.S. Vietnam war, 9-11, the cold war, and the Afghan and Iraq wars. You can't hold some history to one level of scrutiny and others that you have a religious bias against, to another. The details of what you posted have been debunked for decades. Check out historical documents and archaeological findings- there are new developments all the time. We have recent finds that are fascinating- Dr. Titus Kennedy, a field archaeologist ( Biola university and others) has several books on the subject, a new one just in the last few months.

I just got baptized last Sunday and I believe I turned to god not because of the world today we all should no he may not be here in form but spirit god is everywhere and with everyone and loves ALL his children

I remember when I was deployed in Iraq there was an ancient site on our base called Abraham's Oasis, where supposedly Abraham stopped for water on his journey through the desert from the city of Ur to Canaan. There were old ruins and it was the only oasis of water for miles around. The base chaplain did tours of it. I don't know if he actually did stop there despite the legend, but it's surreal stepping foot in such an ancient, biblical part of the world.

except, there is tens of thousands of differences between todays bibles and the dead sea scrolls, which are not preserved, they are tiny fragments, barely legible to a degree that you need modern technological equipment to actually read the text... Seems like a shoddy preservation job by someone allegedly "almighty" 49:30 - 50:00 - just look at those two fragments, how is that preserved??? they can with modern technology, discern 2 measly verses from the entire bible... And they even point out, they aren't identical to the current verses, but similar. and there are thousands of different versions of the bible today, they can't all be equally good preservations of the bible, since they are different... that is what makes them different versions after all..

It speaks volumes about the people of that part of the world. I would dare say to vandalize such places would bring about a bit more harsh punishment than what our system would administrator... perhaps the people of that part of the world are taught to be more respectful. However, with that being said, there's been thieves that have robbed many sites over the centuries and would be considered vandalized.

Oh my gosh, THANK YOU for giving us a clear walk thru into passages above and below ground, land views from atop or walks across hill tops, tells, city sites, etc...for us not able to make any jet trips to Israel because of mobility issues, this is soooo wonderful. Be well in the Lord!!

Please check out the other videos on KZread that says that the temple was in the city of David exactly like the Bible tells us!!! This is completely wrong about where the temple was!!! The temple had to have lots of water for the sacrifices and everything else! There's no water on the so called temple mount but plenty in the city of David!!!! The Bible is God's word and nothing in it is wrong at least it wasn't until recently when every Bible on earth was supernaturally changed!!! The books have stories from real ancient sites yeah. Look at the history of religions. Just Christians and Muslims alone have done the some of the most evil and atrocious acts against fellow humans because of two guys they thought were the true prophet. The leaders are corrupt and use the stories to control the people. Even beliefs from the same origins have split and created separate versions that they fight over. So many cultures have been destroyed through the spreading of the big religions, so many people killed, artifacts and texts stolen or destroyed if they don't fit into the story. Just look at what the Vatican has on display from Egypt. The idols of other gods on display and countless artifacts. So much of humanities history has been stolen and hidden away by the corrupt religious elites. They don't follow what they preach but have used it to control the masses and get what they want. No God wants a human to kill over some books written by humans, but my god what a perfect tool it has been to manipulate humanity. Nothing else has caused so much destruction of cultures, loss of human life than killing and spreading religious beliefs in the name of god. It's been so great for humanity

This is consistent with an age of 6000 years, but not with 4.5 billion years. 5) 1989 Voyager Space Probe calculated Jupiter's magnetic field strength to be much stronger than scientists had predicted. Of all scientists in the world, only one predicted Jupiter's strength accurately. His calculations were based upon the universe being formed only 6,000 years ago. Dr. Russel Humphreys 6) 1975 Mariner space probe captured the magnetic moment of Mercury. 2008 Messenger space probe captured the magnetic moment of Mercury again. In only 33 years the magnetic moment of Mercury shows a significant measurable loss. It necessarily would have to extend 150 miles into the earth. 12) We find carbon-14 in diamonds, which should be gone due to decay rates, after 100,000 years though they are found in geological strata assigned billions of years old. 13) Carlsbad Cavern's sign use to say 260 million years. Then in the 1980's, 7-10 million years. Then 2 million years. Then...no date. Stalactites were found to form within 3 months. 14) We can create coal in the lab in mere hours using organic material, water, and pressure, though we are instructed that coal was formed 286 to 360 million years ago in the Carboniferous Period. 15) A human sandle foot print has been found with a trilobite in the sole in the (assigned) Cambrian Period of 520 million years ago. The "Delk" print. “Trilobite fossils make good index fossils. If a trilobite is found in a rock layer, the rock layer was probably formed 500 to 600 million years ago.” (Holt Modern Earth Science 1989, p. 290). Yet they have found things like a human shoe print with a trilobite inside that was squished. (Found by William Meister of Kearns, Utah June 1, 1968. Dr. H.H.Doelling of Utah’s Geological Survey verified it was not a fake). This creates such a problem for evolutionists that they have gone to the extent to explain it as saying that the shoe print was actually made by another trilobite that evolved into the shape of a shoe and squished the smaller trilobite. 16) The isotope Polonium 218, with a half life of 3.10 minutes is trapped in granite world wide at all measurable depths. The granite thereby, could never have been in a liquid state, otherwise the polonium would have escaped. Therefore the granite had to have been formed instantly and not over thousands, millions or billions of years. 17) Poly-straight fossils (Petrified Trees Through Multiple Rock Layers.) We find petrified trees running thru several rock layers all over the world in the vertical position. It is illogical to assume that those layers represent millions of years or different ages. This would mean that the tree is millions of years old as well, which we know is not true. We also know that a tree that dies above ground will disintegrate and disappear. Only under soil will trees be preserved and become petrified. This also has to happen quickly, which proves that the different layers of rock were deposited quickly. A 5th grader could understand this sir. Why do the geologist have such a problem with simple logic? 18) A poisonous snake placed in a hyperbaric biosphere with 2x atmospheric pressure, 2x oxygen content and pulsed electromagnet energy (recreating earths environmental conditions before Noah's flood) was no longer poisonous after only 4 weeks. 18) In Genesis 17:12, God specifically directed Abraham to circumcise newborn males on the eighth day. Why the eighth day? In 1935, professor H. Dam proposed the name “vitamin K” for the factor in foods that helped prevent hemorrhaging in baby chicks. We now know vitamin K is responsible for the production (by the liver) of the element known as prothrombin. If vitamin K is deficient, there will be a prothrombin deficiency and hemorrhaging may occur. Oddly, it is only on the fifth through the seventh days of the newborn male’s life that vitamin K (produced by bacteria in the intestinal tract) is present in adequate quantities. Vitamin K, coupled with prothrombin, causes blood coagulation, which is important in any surgical procedure. Holt and McIntosh, in their classic work, Holt Pediatrics, observed that a newborn infant has “peculiar susceptibility to bleeding between the second and fifth days of life.... Hemorrhages at this time, though often inconsequential, are sometimes extensive; they may produce serious damage to internal organs, especially to the brain, and cause death from shock and exsanguination” (1953, pp. 125-126). Obviously, then, if vitamin K is not produced in sufficient quantities until days five through seven, it would be wise to postpone any surgery until some time after that. But why did God specify day eight? On the eighth day, the amount of prothrombin present actually is elevated above one-hundred percent of normal-and is the only day in the male’s life in which this will be the case under normal conditions. If surgery is to be performed, day eight is the perfect day to do it. Vitamin K and prothrombin levels are at their peak. Edward, there is an ample amount of scientific evidence refuting your current beliefs. Would you like more? Was that enough to get your attention? What you don't understand is that our scientific community and educational system is as corrupt as our politicians.

People lack belief in the bible in the EXACT same way you don't believe in the quran. In both cases archeology proves "the backdrop" against which the stories played out existed. Archeology has so far failed to prove any of the stories themselves, like the host states at the very beginning of this video.

@@a5cent I don't know what you mean by "archaeology", concerning the quran, as there isn't much to really historically "document" there... There are a lot of historical discrepancies and hadiths that have no historical accuracy that shows that the quran and islam, is not necessarily historically accurate, nor even have real people in the stories, except, concerning Jesus, because the evidence for Jesus shows that He undoubtedly did exist. But islam seems to borrow from apocryphal, heretical and gnostic texts from other areas, because it's inconsistent and confusing, especially regarding its Christology.

Archeology: the study of human history and prehistory through the excavation of sites and the analysis of artefacts and other physical remains. We have archeological evidence for Pontius Pilatus. We have no archeological evidence for Jesus, which seems very strange given all the miracles he is claimed to have performed. It seems something like that would be recorded by Jesus' contemporaries. Archeology isn't just about lost cities. Manuscripts are also archeological finds, for example, thanks to archeological findings, we know that more gospels existed than what was ultimately included in the New Testament. However, there is no archeological evidence for Jesus. If you think there is, I'd love to hear it, and no, you can't use circular reasoning, i.e. you can't use the New Testament to "prove" itself. I can gladly point out the contradictions in the New Testament if you aren't aware of them. There are just as many contradictions in the Christian holy book as there are in the Quran.

If you want PROOF than you'll have to essentially throw out 95% of ancient historical accounts. We would have no history of anything if we made your metrics of "proof" the standard to determine truth.

You seem to forget that the early priests decided what scripture the Bible should contain and discarded many others. My problem is the idea that Jesus was the son of God rather than a human being.

Modern day Israel is just part of the tribe of Israel. Paul tells us not all Israel is Israel. The true Israel now are the true Christians that revelation 14:12 speaks of. The house of Israel had long been dispersed (so called lost 10 tribes) when Jesus came. The house (tribe of Judah) rejected Jesus when He walked the earth and still do today. And many Christians are deceived because they teach the commandments are done away with. And keep every pagan day the Pope's adopted and reject all the days God commands

The "scholars" do not use words like "prove", they use words like "illuminate". That is simply not how real researchers speak and write. Researchers objectively provide facts and evidence of what is observable, these guys are using "facts" to create a subjective opinion.

I have the complete Jewish Bible written by David H Stern. It has the hebrew names of two of the disciples Mathew/Mattityahu and John/Yochanan...I like this version because it helps to familiarise myself with hebrew, as I am a messinic Jew, it has old the older testiment books in hebrew too. It's very helpful indeed.

*Is there more like this?* This is the absolute best documentary on The Holy Land. What a delight to walk and stand in the very area where Jesus and his disciples once stood. Not to mention all the notable Bible characters that we know were there with proof of their existence and the fact they were in that location at one time in their life. You must have been in great awe walking those streets and hill sides. This documentary included places I had never heard of in my studies. So, it was wonderful that you not only showed the locations but gave the history of the leaders and battles that occurred. At nearly two hours long, one would think that this video produced plenty of information for the armchair scholar. But I'm left with more questions than answers. They are, though, questions I would want to be there to ask. To feel...to see, smell, feel and touch. So much history in the air. One would think you could even smell it. Thank you for this.

These same “experts” also thought the Exodus story was false…. and then more evidence was discovered. There’s a documentary on it… it’s called Uncovering Exodus… or something like that! For me, my relationship with God is what truly fuels my faith. He supernaturally saved me from a car wreck, not to mention all the times He guided me. I don’t need archaeology, but it’s definitely interesting!

Nonsense. The bible lacks any kind of consistancy. It even refers to more than one god. Joshua son of Joseph AKA Jesus, tells the truth, but not that anyone believes him now. Find out about the Eleusian mysteries and you'll have some ideer.

I have been a Christian for many years and love to study the Holy Scriptures. But after watching this film, I learned and saw many new things (like the separation barrier in the mikveh). Thank you very much for this very interesting video.

What is sad is when I was growing up it was just after Israel got back land God said belonged to them all along and God allowed the Children of Israel to go home. Archeology was the last thing our parents encouraged. I feel robbed because I love archeology and would of been willing to live at a dig as long as I was allowed to stay. And I thought we were more evolved than that... Oh, well, some can't evolve, they don't even "believe" in evolution. They prefer to believe in things that are not facts for some crazy reasons, as if evolution could be discussed in any way, HA HA, your god itself believes in evolution he doesn't have a choice, since it's a thing. Mostly indoctrination from birth by bad people or people that had the same indoctrination during their own childhood.

Even though men tried to write it according to how they thought or agreed it should be written or put together, the point is, The Almighty’s Word was written for ALL men/women to know and because of that, many lives are changed! People have peace and know how to love one another and try to strive to please ABBA because those who belong to Him knows the sacrifice He Made by giving His only begotten Son to die in our place so that we may live🙏🏼🙌🏼
