The research and scholarship they have gone far enough to make conclusions fundamentally different than yours. In the end one must admit that the church teaches and believes in a way that doesn’t fit well with the current research and scholarship. The question is why? What justifies it?
Dr. Michael Heiser, is this kind of person that runs everything though his mind and it comes out as religious dogma. They also seem to think all this though from their idea of scripture and have no idea from experience to back up their beliefs, they just know better and he has to tell you how it is with God and his message to mankind. Some live their life only by what they think of as the written word of God, but do not acknowledge the living word of God, These folks are the most dangerous when it comes to the truth, the ones that try to kill the Christ with in you.

Interesting arguments, but it appears that Mr. Heiser has either not read nor given credence to Mauro Biglino's work (e.g., "The Naked Bible") in the Vatican sponsored direct translation from written ancient language sources of the Talmud and Torah. Mr. Heiser's discourse is valuable in demonstrating how academia's "learn-ed" proclamations are skewed in their cloak of objectivity by the subjective beliefs of the academician.
I love Dr. Michael Heiser! I believe close to what he believes what the UFO phenomenon is. I've done a lot of my own research and there're many accounts that are overtly demonic but many others that look like it's governmental top secret dark technology. The one thing that I do believe with ufo technology that I don't think Dr. Heiser believes is that the government received this technology from fallen angels/demonic entities.

I am getting Baptized in a few weeks but I have a question. If God has rejected many priests and pastors from receiving Eternal Salvation, because He says He didn't know them, what do I have to do so He knows me? I pray daily and repent of my sins often, but I truly reject sin every day and try my hardest to be like Jesus, in terms of doing what is right, and I talk to God regularly, actually, a lot. Am I supposed to be talking to God, or Jesus? I usually pray to both just to be safe.

Many moons ago my husband worked night shift and him and his buddy that got wasted after work one night came home in the wee hours of the morning and he was way messed up .. we had two lil babies and he came through the door and fell face first on the bed. I went to him and as I sat on the side of the bed I just layed my hand on his back softly and the second I did that this HUGE very black bird like thing came flying out of him and up and out right through the ceiling.. i could feel the power of this thing .. literally ..

When he sais grace is all we need for salvation, this doesn't align with Revelation. After the 1000 year reign of Christ (Lord's Day) is judgment day, where 2 books are opened. One is the book of life the other is for those that did not take part in the 1st resurrection. These are the people that worshipped the beast and his image, those that haď taken his marķ in their hand or on their forehead. All will be judged by their works! Anyone who's name isn't found in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire and their names will be blotted out. There definately are conditions, our grace is that we are given the chance to repent and change our ways. When Christ died it did it to defeat death and pay for our souls, all souls belong to God. If your works didn't matter, what would be the point of repentence? Why would there be a judgement day? That day isn't to judge satan or his angels, they've been judged already they are cast into the lake òf fire, where the prophet and beast are.
