Quick question! I'm working on a nu metal project and I love this! But I'm working with the Strummer mode but would you recommend not using the strumming mode for those kinda riffs used in numetal?

how low can you go? can you go to Csharp tuning>?

I am sorry if this is a really stupid question - I am just starting out and trying to get my head around a lot of new things! Are you playing the notes on a midi keyboard or are you using touchscreen or mouse and using the keyboard on the screen when you play notes eg at 02:08 please?

He's using a usb midi keyboard controller. The way you can tell is for one, the sound is loaded into Kontakt, which maps the keys to the controller. There's no way you could do this with a mouse unless your drawing the midi notes out on the keyboard roll and he's not displaying a DAW; just Kontakt

Is there anyway where I could I could simulate that fretnoise when you slide or move your move very faster chord to chord

Yes, this is a keyswitch - it's the G below the lowest playable note.

Never noticed before, but there is a split second of silence between note/chord changes, which to my ear sounds very unrealistic as the strings on an actual guitar always continue to produce vibration even after muting the string, and there is no dead-stop to sound waves unless you're playing in the vacuum of space, maybe.

I think that is sort of inevitable with samples. It's either that or the samples blending too much into each other and thus you lose some pick attack definition if you set the release time longer so gotta find a balance between the two. You can adjust the attack, decay, sustain and release of each articulation separately so you can get rid of the gap if that's your preference.

The Shreddage 2 line is discontinued, we have S3 versions of all those guitars.

Sorry for the confusion, we goofed in our email, and the video didn't quite explain clearly. Coupons have now been updated. If you own Shreddage 1 you get a coupon for 60% off, and if you own Shreddage 2 *Classic* (which is an upgrade from S1), you get another code. NOW, if you combine both, the price should be $20!

I can't get the vibrato to work on any of them, it just sounds like a fizzy shake instead of a nice drawn out wobble

Try switching to "Emulated" vibrato mode.

oh dear god. after just practicing like hell with every variety of instruments and learning some guitar... i can safely say avoid this one... im sorry but god damn is the pitch shift edited rx8 samples noticeable. the guitar as well might be missing some articulations from s1??? no idea what's up with that. palm mutes straight up are not as strong in the transient when exporting the wavs from the sample and the guitars tone is overall just has this strange gunk sound to it. i really wish you guys resampled this from scratch, shreddage 1's tone is absolutely legendary and still holds up to this day despite the lack of samples. i really don't want to be mean since i absolutely love using isw's products but this just feels like a cash grab tbh.....

The articulation list should be identical between Legacy and S1. We'd love to resample the SG Standard sometime, however the original performer no longer has that instrument, so it would have to be a different one (which might not match the original pool exactly...)

@@ImpactSoundworksLLC i guess, but isn't it just an sg standard with .9 gague strings and single coil pickups? i don't think they're that hard to find tbh as well, are you sure that all the samples are there? when i went through the samples it was missing the half mute sample that was found in the original shreddage along the slide sample seems to be different? idk it just does not sound, look, or feel right compared to how the og shreddage sounded. though i am using an older 1.0 version of s3 legacy due to my internet being so crap

Before you buy-- Shreddage is not for beginners , You will not get the sound / mix that you hear in their ads, unless you really know what you're doing in terms of sound production. Shreddage also has a problem with mid/high range power chords sounding fake. It does do low end power chords well though. Impulse response apps are way more authentic sounding and fall into a mix much better.
