I used Evolution Dracus (Orangetree) for a long time - gotta say Shreddage has a couple of really positive sides to it that Dracus and the rest don't have; modular fx (freely set order, saveable settings, save/load between different Shreddage instruments), free ADSR controls for the articulations, proper modular save/load for patches (you can choose which ones you save and load out of the three tabs which are 1 articulation settings, 2 main engine settings and 3 the effects chains; you can save/load these separately whichever way you want to). Also, in general, if you want to djent and shred, Shreddage Jupiter (and Serpent, why not the others too, although I personally think Hydra's djent sound is surprisingly dull, haven't used it though, just heard elsewhere!) has a better and/or more easily attainable sound for that (ofc). Also, Dracus etc have 2 palm mutes and a mute, and that's it, and no global offset (very useful for de-djenting and making the sound softer in Shreddage), no rakes, no staccatos, no multi-parameter articulations tabs, no per-layer velocity-to-volume, no time windows for release noises. That being said, Dracus has some stuff Shreddage doesn't: automatable effects (the only one I'm really missing from Shreddage is the awesome Wah pedals they have, you can midi-control and/or automate them), different pickups, pick modeling (I'm not a guitarist so I don't really need that), 3 squeals instead of 1 (I don't mind having just 1 because the 1 Shreddage has is awesome), strum/riff engine for writing your own riffs (haven't used but it's pretty damn good) although ofc the strum engine of Shreddage is really good too. But any day, I'd prefer Shreddage for general, highly adjustable djentage (as Stevie T would say)/shredding. Great job with these.

Have you checked out the TACT tab? Let's say you want to put Mutes on vel 1-69. It's really easy. Just go to the Mute articulation, set the keyswitch (KEY) the same one as sustain (C-1 I believe). Then, in the second 'row' below the KEY rule, select VEL from the dropdown. Set that to 1-69 for mutes. For sustain, change that to something like 70-109. 110+ is usually a good range for the Rake articulation to come in,

@@PaulOwenMusic In the snapshot menu, try switching to "_Styles -> Metal Rhythm". This matches the palm mutes exactly how they were in Shreddage 2. Of course, the velocity range will be slightly different so the exact same MIDI won't necessarily play back the same way (this is because we made the mapping more consistent per key) but the audio is otherwise identical. You definitely should not be getting hanging notes, we aren't aware of any bugs with that. this is pretty incoherent. you ever see yngvie malmsteen try to teach guitar where he plays a lick at lightning speed then tells the novice to try? its like that.... im trying to learn how to use these *RETARDED* keyswitch shit since im being *forced* to on the new shreddages that *DONT FUCKING WORK WITH MY MUSIC THAT USES OLDER SHREDDAGE. (WHY DID YOU GUYS DO THAT GODDAMN...)* *IVE HAD THIS PRODUCT FOR OVER A YEAR AND HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO USE IT BECAUSE IT DOES NOT WORK LIKE THE OLD SHREDDAGE.* *AND I FEEL RIPPED OFF* *ALSO I BOUGHT SHREDDAGE 2X YEARS AGO AND NOW WHEN I DOWNLOAD IT, I GET THE SHIT SOUNDING LEGACY VERSION THAT ISNT WHAT I ORIGNALLY BOUGHT (2X)*
