This video was an art piece on its own. i love how he actually appreciates his old artwork instead of just being ewww it's so bad. Also shinchan yay

Yeah, true. While it's understandable why many artists have mixed or negative feelings towards their older works, they still have certain responsibilities of a public person once they grow bigger on social media. I mean, by excessively ewwing your own artwork in front of vast audience, you are also insulting all of the people, whose artwork looks exactly like that at this point of their growth. So it's always nice to see someone with more mature outlook on their own progress.
...whenever I watch your videos there is this unexplained feeling of comfort and safety, and here you are showing your love for anime/cartoon characters! Now I feel comfort, safety and....at home. Keep blessing us with these awesome art videos, Alpay!

Your hands painted the true brilliance And your voice enveloped them in beauty♥
Would love to see a big Artanis painting! I do love how your old painting turned out. Your collection of Gouache sketches/paintings is awesome.
his secret box of painting which is no more secret, paintings are great though
I love the New obin Hood Daffy! So many memories 🙌🏼
Ever since you tried the HIMI gauche, I have been waiting for this video! Loved seeing the art. :D
this made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. and it made want to take some gouache and paint :)
Your gouache ones are amazing! I really like the clean and "cell-shade" look and the fantastic contrast to the background. You know your color palette.
Everything about this video was beautiful, effortless and nostalgic. It makes me really want to give gouache a try for the first time ;)
This all looks absolutely stunning! I just love how gouache looks and your art just embraces it even more!
Thank you for sharing, Alpay! It's really awesome to see artists' early inspiration and secret stashes of unshown artwork. I remember being inspired by YuGiOh and being obsessed by the card art of the show and the decks one could collect. Still don't know how to play any of it, but there's some collectible cards I had hidden somewhere
A nice walk down Nostalgia Lane 😊I'm also a big fan of Chuck Jones animation and humor. I have his book Chuck Amuck and it is definitely 'daffy'.
Happy you shared this Alpay! looking forward to more of your paintings(and other pop art nostalgia) !
hell boy seemed the best to me~!!!
Aww love this WHOLE other side of your artistic self would like to watch more videos like this too!
Thanks for sharing your stash. Never would have imagined you had those early cartoons as influences. Those used to be the singular reason so many kids got out of bed on a Saturday morning - self included. Again, how you chose your colors/palette when you don't like the reference would be great to share and demonstrate, too
I would love to know how you paint backgrounds so smoothly. Your style is fascinating!
I loooove the effect on that unfinished digimon painting!!!!!
Awesome paintings! Thanks for sharing. Blessings and take care.
Wow this was fun
I enjoyed looking at your awesome paintings fron your youth. You are an amazing gifted artist. Blessings!!
These paintings are awesome Alpay💕🔥 I would put older work from elementary and beyond in a secret box, to look back at how much I've grown over the years, and things that inspire me (pictures, magazines, etc).I can't wait to get a set of gouache paint, it has such a beautiful and painterly texture to it.

That was great, Alpay. I think I understand you more now.
Loved this!! I also started my art journey drawing the characters of the morning weekends!! I love your art! Have a good one!
It's great to discover your first inspiration and see where you're now artistically! We have a lot of visual baggage in common but I still struggle to detach from that sort of visual style. I'm actually trying to incorporate rather than excluding it in my next creative journey and btw, thanks for all your great videos and tips, really appreciate it!
You're amazing, not just your incredible talent, but your positive outlook on everything! You're definitely inspiring! I just found your channel last night and this was the first watch suggested and I'm exploding with inspiration! Thank you!

These are amazing as they are! Definitely a sweet art book in the making 🤔😁❤
Love the Skeletor one! I've always been obsessed with Skeletor, and it's great to see the action figure painted in your style. It has the look of a toy that has been well used and played with for an entire childhood.

Cool 😎
UWU So many anime, video game, comic, and cartoon references yaaaaay no wonder I love your channel so much hehe
Wow almost 600k Alpay! I look forward to your next vid. I reckon you'll be around 607k? Let's see how I go with my predictions...
I never liked painting as a kid. Wanted to draw . Kinda bummed out when I learn how people do digital painting. But alpay you have shown me how beautiful a painting can be. How much emotion you can transfer through a brush. Or be lose messy whatever. I bought a cheap acrylic set to dabble into painting.
And yet works as asmr
thanks for reminding me that I don't paint enough hahaha
Hmmm nice
Thank You for sharing these! This presentation is inspiring! Any painter can learn a lot from you! Yes…I have Subscribed! ❤️🙏🏻🕊🌿🌻🕯🪶🎨
Hey Alpay, do you have advice for wanting to sell fan art pieces? What an artist can and can’t sell is such a grey area & I would really appreciate anything you have to say about it. Thanks for the awesome walkthrough of your gouache paintings 👏🏼👏🏼
