Kinda hard to buy 2 pairs of race day shoes when they cost $250

Usually after a few big races I retire mine to workout - only shoes then buy another pair so after a year or so. By then usually I can get ‘em on sale cause I’m cheap😂

Shoes are like smartphones. Just buy last year's model. Much cheaper and unless you're Kelvin Kiptum the difference is neglectable.

Bro really was disconnected with majority of his followers. Yeah lemme just spend $500 on shoes. Heres a better piece of advice; just run in your race day shoes in the taper.

I agree with you, but people spend more on other hobbies.

How do you temper your excitement with signing up for races to schedule your active rest period and recover? I just wanna keep going but I know I need to stop after a big race😂

Ran in my new race shoes out off the box today ran a 36 minute 10k 👌

Waiting til last week leading up to the race leaves no time to fix if there is a problem, i usually do 1-2 runs before, but about 3-4 weeks out, so i can address a problem

But I also agree it's kinda hard when they cost so much

So you only wear the training shoes twice?

Running shoes best performance is when you used them for the second time 👍

2 pairs? 🤔 maybe for other runners who has more 💵💸 than any regular people. But I wore mine going to work and vice versa for a week and then I 🏃‍♂️a short distance. Great content though 👍

Yeah I sold my car so I could afford two pairs. Big brain.

What I like to do is wear them once during the longest run of the marathon to get the feel for the shoe and I won't wear them again until race day, that way I dont spend too much money on shoes, and I can get a feel for them for race day while theyre still in race shape!

My race shoe causes blister on my bottom left foot any idea why?

lemme casually drop $800 on 2 pairs of shoes. the company's that make these things in china for $0.50 each are laughing all the way to the bank.

L take. Use trainers buy 1 race day shoe trainers are 90-130 and racers are 200+ dont buy 2
