Should TRT be considered Natural?

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video we ask Super Training Gym Members if TRT is Natty or Not. A lot of lifters are hopping on TRT as a logical next step to progressing and gaining muscle. Is that necessary though?

    Is natty, natty? it looks like a term coined by the weight lifting community. This words definition & authority is foundated off the disapproval or approval of those in this thought group. Natty points to the word natural so technically TRT can be argued as natty since its from plants and not just straight up created in a lab like other substances. Why are those other substances considered natty, is it not because they are less effective?

Six months ago I went on a low dose of TRT (100mg every 5 days) because my natural testosterone levels had gotten so low I no longer had the energy to workout. I now feel energetic, can workout again, and feel the best I have felt in many years. If you want to say I am no longer natural I don't give a f*ck because you know what is natural? Old age, disease, disability, and DEATH; and I want to put those NATURAL occurrences off as long as I can.

    TRT isn't natural. Your natural T levels fluctuate during the day, but with TRT it never dips down. But TRT isn't as despicable as steroids, as at least TRT can be prescribed for health purposes and wellbeing.

  • @CaneFu

    @CaneFu

    Wrong, as T levels do fluctuate on TRT. I inject 200mg cypionate every 2 weeks and my T levels start declining a couple of days after injections and continue to do so until the next injection. I start off slightly higher than "normal" shortly after my injection and drop to slightly below "normal" right before my next injection.

    @@CaneFu Natural testosterone levels fluctuate within a 24 hour period as part of a natural rhythm. What you said is actually a good example of how TRT is different compared to being natural.

  • @CaneFu

    @CaneFu

    Жыл бұрын

    @@kanielk9772 I never said the fluctuations were the same, I simply said "T levels do fluctuate on TRT". And unless one is tested hourly we have no way to know how evenly that release of test is on TRT. Since I inject test into my thigh the release varies with my activity level, heart rate, and speeding up and slowing down of my circulation. If I were to go running or cycling everyday (I don't) I would metablize the test a lot quicker than I do now. BOTH levels of natural and synthetic testosterone fluctuate and high natural levels of testosterone, like young men have, is superior to TRT because the body will manufacture more testosterone when it is needed. If I exercise too much I could burn up my limited supply of testosterone before my next injection and I have actually done that when I tested very low on my trough day. And that's why no young healthy guys should even consider TRT and should wait until middle age before they even think about it. However, when bodybuilders take massive doses of steroids they don't ever have to worry about burning up that much test, or they just inject more if they feel run down. Guys on prescription TRT can't do that because they are only allotted a set dose by the doctor; so don't confuse TRT with steroid users as they are completely different.

    Great video, loved the demos I between too. My opinion is that natural is natural and TRT is it's own thing. I wouldn't necessarily class TRT as 'enhanced' but more optimised, so long as you're still falling in that reference range when referring to bloodwork. However depending on your dosing schedule you'll definitely have the advantage of more consistent and stable testosterone levels that won't be affected by sleep deprivation, alcohol etc. as it's administered exogenously.

  • @maniekan

    more plates more dates talks about this in its entirety you're natural testosterone pulses up and down kind of like a bandwidth signal where as if you are injecting trt you have long chain esters that will pulse the higher output more frequently translating into more muscle mass / less fat uptake due to the higher levels of cals burnt from more muscle retained..

    I was on it for a year and a half over 2 years ago, and even though my levels were SUPER normal on like 70-80mg a week (Serum Test levels around 340-370 on a reference range chart of 200-800ng/dL) I still felt “better” on it. Better recovery, less visceral fat.. better sex, etc etc. it made me have gnarly sleep apnea and also raised my red blood cell counts and hematocrit/hemaglobin levels despite having “healthy” test levels from an endocrinologist. After being told staying on it could lead to an early grave (I guess there’re statistics that show a higher chance of coronary artery disease and athlerosclorosis in men who are permanently on trt vs men that aren’t taking exogenous testosterone). So who knows. But I did feel better on it even if my natural T levels today are similar to my TRT days.

    There is a simple answer to this which I think sums up what you were saying: If you’re CREATING a hormone imbalance, it’s not natty, but if you’re SOLVING a hormone imbalance, it’s natty. There is a healthy range of testosterone for men. If you are above that range due to synthetic T, you are comprising your health and should stop taking steroids immediately. If you are below that range and can only be within it by taking synthetic T, steroids would actually be the natural, healthy option.

    I consider TRT a steriod cycle. Doctor prescribed or local drug dealer. The average adult male produces 6 mg of testosterone per day. That is 42 mg. per week. The normal production range is from 5 to 10 mg. per day. Even at the highest production level, we're only talking about 70 mg a week. A replacement dose should therefore fall between 40 and 70 mg but but but I need more to get my levels to my high normal levels tho. Most people with low testosterone would never have high natural testosterone hence they low in the first place, due to genetics, lifestyle or anaoblic abuse. Most people are doubling their levels and don't forget about the constant peak. Testosterone levels drop through out the day. I personally believe unless you have a medical issue, most people don't need it. If your levels are in the gutter, there is a reason for it. This doesn't make it Natural

  • @CaneFu

    @CaneFu

    WRONG, you don't understand TRT at all. Everyone's testosterone goes way down as we age, yours will too. Replacement doses do not work on a 1 to 1 ratio as it isn't as efficient as natural production and some of the testosterone is lost when it is metabolized, even with injections. Depending on the individual, it will probably take between 100 & 200mg per week to get their testosterone levels up to normal ranges and this is verified by blood work. While some younger guys do abuse TRT and want super physiological levels of T, most older guys (like me) just want to get their levels back up to their younger days so we can continue to exercise, be healthy, have sex again, and enjoy life. Or maybe you think we should all just accept spending our days in a rocking chair as we age?
