@@JeremyBercow I am not a United fan either but here's why. 1 - United has one of the largest fan bases in the world, news about them will sell. 2- Most of the panel were dismantled by United during their playing careers. That hatred lives on. 3- Most people don't want to see United shine. So anything to promote instability, they will support. 4- the media is as clueless as the rest of us, when it comes to coaching expertise. They just be chatting shite most of the time. 5- they are just going with what sells. People hate United, so they push that narrative for clicks. 6- people are impatient, United needs to reduce expectations and give a manager time. That's the top reasons.

If they are focusing on position, let's look at Madrid, they played City in the Champions League and they had 38% and 32%. That wouldn't be considered impressive, but yet you praised their defense. So why change the narrative when it's United?

Because they are silly, that's why. Both teams can't play possession ball at the same time. The game will be scrappy. A good manager knows how to adapt. And if you are going up against City, counterattack is not a bad game plan.

because City looked much better against Madrid. City were playing Madrid at the Eithad,. against Madreee, City weren't hungover from league win festivities. This was the worst City game of the season; so, although both teams parked the bus, Madrid was dealing with a different City.

It is so delusional to think sacking Ten Hag will solve United’s problems. How can he be the cause when the problems existed long before he arrived? With Ten Hag I feel the hunger and desire. When Van Gaal won the FA cup, or when Jose won the Europa League, you knew that was the most they could muster. They were done after that and were never going to achieve anything greater. But Ten Hag speaks as if this is only the beginning. He has a vision and a plan. He knows he can achieve more and desperately wants to do it. I’d take Ten Hag over a Tuchel 2 years stint anytime of the day.

Last season showed Ten Hag can do better. And he has won 2 trophies in 2 seasons. I think he deserves one more to show what he has got. That being said this season, this one game aside, was poor.

Man United are very unpredictable. I don’t think the desire was there for city. Winning the premier league is so much more difficult. United still have very good players that play well once in a while but they can’t keep it up for the whole season. They’re frickin 8 th place.
