I am dutch. Holland was in two world cup finals with a world class generation of players . They played progressive football that was called total football. But we never won the world cup. Holland was praised but for the history books no one will know how good we where. That's interesting. It's been so common in regards to Manchester United in the last ten years. Solskjaer, Kieran McKenna and Michael Carrick had a relatively successful period while in charge. We played exciting football and looked to be moving in the right direction before Cristiano signed and derailed our season, but only the negatives were ever reported. Now we're looking so replace Ten Hag who's proven himself over and over again with Kieran McKenna. It's bonkers.

We can agree we lose points when missing important players, but I'v never seen any team like united this year in terms of injuries. United paid a lot and wages are a lot, yes.. But this is exactly what the problem has been for us as a club. It's not Ten Hag who negotiated the price or wages. Its been whichever inexperienced business man the glazers hired to do it. This has led to many problems, since long before ETH came in...,90 mill for McGuire , wages for Sanchez at the time etc etc etc. This has lead to multiple current problems at the club already, which Ten Hag is addressing, and has removed players who are only there to pick up a wage. The Club is big, but the problems are bigger, 15 years of neglect wont be fixed overnight. Any manager would need time here, and Ten Hag has come in with the right mentality to do that. Just as it took another big club, Liverpool ,more than 20 years to challenge again, which only happened when the right owners came in and built toward success rather than leaching off the club & letting it rot. I'd wager if Ten Hag got two more years with this team, he will have us challenging and back where we need to be. And I think, deep down, even pundits know that. Will we get to see that in today's age where everybody demands instant success, and are influenced by fan demands on social media and mainstream media pundits? If we have the right owners, he will..

Mind you Liverpool did not have there two best center backs in Varane and Martinez out for most of the season or both left backs out all season, having to play a right back in left back to plug up the space. Liverpool did not have just one striker all season who happened to be a twenty year old that just got signed and needed time to recover from an injury before trying to adapt to a league which is touted as the best or the most competitive in the world. @@lonelyboy1977 for one.. Antony was not his first choice. And we could have got him for £35m. But Man Utd were being cheap and didn’t want to pay that much and held out until late August and went back and offered £90m. That was the failing of Murtogh and Arnold, who made many of the very same mistakes in years gone by. At £35m Antony, even as a flop isn’t a disaster. Man Utd haven’t had the ability to sell players for many many years now. And they are terrible at negotiating, which the manager isn’t a part of. I’m sure Ten Hag didn’t think Antony was anything worth £90m but Murtagh and Arnold were a joke

That Manchester united caller is speaking for all Manchester united supporters. I know people in the media have got negative opinions on Erik ten hag but united supporters are with him. How can he out perform every manager in England when they finished where they did in the prem? You’re telling me he’s had a better season than McKenna? Arteta finished 2nd and took the title to the last day. Emery got Villa into CL… Ten Haag has one a League Cup and an FA Cup since he’s come in with some pretty poor league finishes in that time. Media has these stereotypes and pigeonholes, where they fit in facts. As a fan, its 100% more memorable to win the FA cup and see the captain lifting the trophy at Wembley, than to squeeze into top 4. These are memorable moments that live on.
