After four years, our Kubota Sidekick RTV850 needs a new battery. After sitting two weeks in a storage container in freezing temps, the battery threw In The towel. We replaced it with an Autozone two year battery. Duramark. Very frustrating when equipment does not work. When you only have the weekends, we need equipment to run.

And it breaks when you have a thousand things to do to. They don’t make batteries like they used to. Take care and have a blessed rest of the week Scott.

Buy an AGM type battery instead of the wet cell flooded type you bought. They cost a bit more, but last much longer and are better suited to this type of use.

One of the last big jobs I worked on was a tunnel, they had 2 kubota type vehicles. One of them, we had to air the tire before we used it, it had a slow leak. & getting a new tire was out of the question! It was kind of ridiculous...🙄

Yes. Sometimes people cannot see the forest for the trees. Haha. That’s frustrating.

Good point on all the vibrations. Didn’t think about that. Nothing last as long as it used to.

I’ve had to put a battery in my RTV a couple times. I don’t think they have a very good charging system.

They cost more and don't last near as long as they used to! If you got 4 years out of the OEM then you did pretty good. But yes, they should last longer.

car batteries are lucky to last 3-4 years not like the old ones. These are new cheap and short life batteries run one down and leave it dead...they are already about 25% less than they were.
