You can replace those batteries, they're just lithiums. The flat ones are called pouch cells; that's what in laptops, powerbanks etc. To get the exact replacement you'll find numbers like 3.7v 10000mAh 7565121. First two are voltage & capacity, last one is the size in mm. Format is thickness / width / length, so that one is 7.5 x 65 x 121mm. Similar to the round cells where 18650 means 18mm diameter x 65.0 mm length.

@@TheMiniMachineShop I wouldn't worry about having to replace the batteries. One tip though, don't charge your welder before putting it away, lithium batteries don't like sitting for months at full charge. Having them at about 50%-ish is recommended.

That should be a very handy tool. I once tried to solder a terminal on a buttery but was not successful. Thanks for the video keep on keeping on.
