Dave. A bit that is unstable when cutting almost certainly has one edge either poorly sharpened or misaligned compared to the others.

Hi Don, I was given a sharpened end mill some time ago and found it was concave in the middle. Who knows how that was done.

Ahh Ok in the intro I said the videos were originally private for a new guy so I'm addressing him saying go get the adapter which is an ER40 collet chuck that has an R8 shank and is available on Amazon.@@makosharkcnc7730

If your running carbide on manual machines you have to flood it. Don't use a spray bottle because you will thermal shock it and cause stress fractures in the endmill. Just a tip

There is a severe deficiency in today's engineers. Most of them couldn't engineer their way out of a wet paper bag
