He suffered a ligament injury last year and underwent surgery. He faced the pressure of a big contract after leaving the team he had fought alongside for six years. He must have struggled with betrayal from a trusted interpreter and not being able to perform as usual due to the injury. It was painful to see him struggle during his pitching rehab. But with this one hit, I remembered that he is a unicorn who can overcome all of that. Congratulations! Let's go Dodgers!

I'm so happy for him! Ohtani had his entire life turned upside down not two weeks ago and didn't even miss a game. People do years of therapy for much less traumatic events, I hope he can recover and go back to the Ohtani we all love ro root for 😊
