Sorry for your loss i’m slowly getting my camping gear but wife won’t let me camp away from home as just getting over a old Heart attack so doing it I’m my back garden having my own camp area as our garden is 125 foot long by 8 foot wide give or take

Hi Dan, so sorry for your loss love. In answer to your question; I am in my 60's now and have lived alone nine years this year. I love my own company, however, I go to see my brother, his wife and adult kids once a week and I enjoy their company too. Most of the time though, I love my own company, alongside my little dog. Another great video, thank you.

I've been on my own 15+ years. It can be lonely sometimes but on the whole there's always something to do & I too have a dog. I meet up occasionally with friends etc but after all these years I'm used to my own company. It was funny during lockdowns as people were asking how I was coping? I told them it's no different😂😂 I agree with you Howard too that if you could choose how to go then just going to sleep is the best. No pain or suffering & slip away quietly. It's the ones who are left behind who suffer with the pain & upset though. It's never easy & that's why we should all be more like Dan & make the most of things & "be that person".

Hi Dan, yea so sorry to hear of your loss of your Uncle, being only 54 he passed away for too young! Being now 82 years on this planet makes me feel a little privaleged! But one thing that puts a 'good' slant on things is, it is the best way to go when it's your time mate! Just 'nod' off to sleep.....

Yes I am an introvert, prefer being on my own, completely self sufficient with minimal needs. Your solo camps are my favorite by far. I lost my entire family a while back, and close friend recently. Does not get easier, eh you have to live harder now and keep on your path, cos thats why we are all here Dan. I will pray for you where you like it or not :D

I have not watched to the end yet so don’t know what happened but you are an amazing inspiration to lots but people will stick with you through all because you’re genuine but as said by many comments family first. Rest second bless you and your family always 🇬🇧👍

Thoughts and prayers out for you and the family, at the loss of you uncle. Yes it's one of those things when you hit a certain age, and you loose friends, family members ect. At 56 I have lost best mate, family members, friends over the years. A sad time! Thanks for the video share mate and you just take it easy.

Sorry to hear of you loosing a family member. Lost my own Mother recently and bloody difficult. I'm a loner although wouldn't mind some company more often. Tea total so hard to find folk that do same.

Same here, lost my mother who I’d cared for in her last years, 5 months ago, very difficult to deal with, especially emptying her house (father passed away in 2008). Also a loner, though I do miss her company. I suppose life does go on though, so they say☹️🤔

Really started laughing when u ate the chilli cheese tgh,your face says it all..ha There is only me n my mum left as my sister and dad died 4 months apart 5 years ago.I have no other siblings,so yes it is a very big shock and i understand your pain dan,but life goes on,as long as you have the memories,that's all that matters.

So sorry about your loss, man. It can be rough. I lost my wife yrs ago. Together for 7 yrs but only married 9 mos. Actually one of the reasons I started my main channel. I went camping a lot after that and still do. Now I have a second channel to share the camping, but I sometimes I get too caught up in trying to film instead of taking a moment. Writing this half way through, myself I like being alone. It's a different experience camping alone in remote places. There is comfort in company but not just any company. Aw sorry to hear your sad news. I think most of us who have lost anyone close to us would say if you're going to go, its best to go in your sleep. At least that way you don't know about it & not suffered. Its always hard for the ones who are left behind though. Hope you are doing ok & think I can speak for most of us in saying keep doing what you are doing because we enjoy watching your camping videos & the tips & information you give us. Sorry for your loss . I agree with you that we should live to the full. I enjoy your content, so thank you for sharing. I love tent camping,and car camping with my two dogs . Getting out in nature is amazing and so worthwhile. Being inspired by and leaning from one another is what it's all about my friend. You could camp in your back yard as far as I'm concerned, I'd still be inspired and learn from you. I'm probably 70 / 30 in favour of my own company, I spend time with friends now and again. Keep on enjoying what you do , so we can all enjoy it with you.
