As an engineer, I appreciate the explanation of the biphashic waveform. It's a lot more challenging to design an acoustic transducer and driver that can deliver large transients. Most of them use custom ceramic piezo transducers. A lot of engineering goes into designing these devices and just as much goes into biomedical engineering research.

Unfortunately you're in Indiana and I'm in Belvidere Illinois so that would be quite a drive. Would you recommend anyone in this area that could do what you do or at least close to it? There are urologists around here in many cases that don't even deal with Ed which is very weird to me because I would think that would be on the top of the medical schools teaching. But if you know anybody that can help in this area I would be grateful if you would let me know.

I just read on an ED website that anyone with Diabetes the Focused Wave treatment wont work. Does this include type II that is under control ?

Hey, great video! I noticed that you reference the MTS Urogold100 as a radial device. I am doing research on devices and have yet to see that referenced as a radial wave device. San Diego Sexual Medicine (Irwin Goldstein's clinic) uses the Urogold100 and they appear to be a legit practice. What are your thoughts? Any help is much appreciated. Do radial shockwave devices work at all?

I have serious question i’ve never had a erectile dysfunction until I started using a pump I’m not very experienced with a pump when I first got it but when I started using it I used it hard and excessively thinking that it was helping me now I can’t get erection and it’s not as hard as it use to be vs before the pump I could think about sex and I will get hard and stay hard before even having sex do you think shockwave would help me or is there other options alternatives can you please get back to me thank you

Paul tried to take care of all this illness most of the time that's the beginning of our problem with ED . That's what I start doing the arteries have to be clean of the calcium they collect inside our arteries and then the blood cannot circulated the proper way the flow do not get to the penis. The arteries there are smaller than the rest of our body.

It is very cost prohibitive since it is considered to be experimental and not yet covered by insurance.

I went to get a 6 session shockwave therapy at a clinic in my city. It did NOTHING for me. I took a picture of their machine, and it says its a storz medical and it has a duolith SD1 green tag on the right side. But the funny thing is it doesnt look anything like the one in your picture , it doesnt have a screen in the base. It looks exactly like the one you say is radial, same shape and pattern design. But it did have a duolith tag stick out to the right side. Is that what they look like now or did they use a radial on me and charge me $2100??

Thanks as I have been trying to find out ANY specs on this product. They have a well oiled PR machine and NEVER give a straight answer on specs which is very suspicious.

I had 2 rounds of 6 treatments . I saw only slight improvement. . But my ED issue is greater then I first believed, so that may account for my lack of improvement .

Great information! I do have another question that I would like some advice on. I'm in my late 50s and I do have mild ed. My concern is this, when I ejaculate, not much come out and when it does, it's not very strong at all. It just oozes out instead of shoot out. Nothing of concern unless you are trying to achieve a conception. In that case you could have some retrograde ejaculation contributing to your lower output.

How long does it last?

Where exactly is your facility? Is there some type of housing/ hotels, etc., nearby if a patient wanted to receive treatment there. Does insurance or medicare cover some of the expense? I take host of meds for hypertension, Type 2 Diabetes, etc., and believe that some may aggravate ED. I have been prescribed Viagra and Cialis with mixed results. Have found that some over the counter meds, L Arginine, etc., help build stronger more dependable erections. No prostate issues or nerve damage that I am aware of....but do experience neuropathy in feet and legs with numbness up to mid calf. Hoping that it stays away from my middle leg.
