This video was so good at explaining how to deal with the terrible camera. I generally thought i'd never be able to do it as the game was locking on to different boxes even if i was standing right in front of one. Pausing all the time to carefully pick the order was definitely the trick to it, so thanks!

I did this with about 4 seconds to spare. I never knew Windstorm was stronger with a smaller radius when casted with the weapon thrown. I'm glad I did it without watching a video first but man it would have been helpful. That.. and the auto aim trick. Many retries for that alone lol. Nice video.

This was a big struggle for me cause I forgot this is NOT an action game. It's an RPG at heart. So using the tactical mode and understanding the nuances of retrieve with warp and retrive in place was key. Thanks for the video and the reminder. One thing to note, if you use the Dpad to change lock on targets, it doesn't seem to work with the boxes, gotta switch to R analogue lock on target switching. At least that's how it was for me.

@@patrickrainville I kept on failing even with your guide, because auto aim kept messing me up, so i did one try with no auto aim, just orienting Yuffie and my camera to aim boxes properly, and it went smoothly with seconds to spare, but all your explainations and well-placed whirlwind to break boxes behind walls are the keys that made me "Rocked it" 😉

When you pop open the command menu (X button, iirc) the game goes to slow motion. That’s when you can adjust your target! From there you can click/unclick R3 to re lock on to things, or toggle between targets. Or simply to readjust camera with right stick

Please explain how to pause the game and switch targets! I've tried everything and the camera just flies all over the place and locks on to the farthest possible box every time. I just don't understand what button you're hitting to get into this pause screen...

Very strange! That’s usually all there is to it. X to open up pause screen, click on R3 to lock on something, move right stick to cycle between objects. Not sure why your game/controller is behaving differently:(

I'm shelving this after 3 hours, and not getting any closer. This is now the only third game in my history of gaming that I cannot get 100% on; and that is pissing me off. Star Ocean: The Last Hope, Vanquish and now this stupid box bullshit. (hopefully the 'complain on the internet rule' works, and I get it right after this comment) Update 20 minutes later: Complaining on the internet is fool proof.

Hi there! Are you click in the right stick (R3)? Once you've done that it snaps to a target. Afterwards, you can push the right stick in various directions to swap between targets.

Oh very strange! I wonder. Maybe they’ve patched it? I made this video shortly after the Yuffie DLC came out, so it’s possible they’ve changed some values at their end…although I’ve heard fairly recently from other folks who were able to get it with this method, so… I’m not sure! =/

@@patrickrainvilleI actually found out why and got this done in an hour. It seems that if you wait a full second or two, the extra hits from the shuriken damage the 1500 boxes more than if you do windstorm immediately.
