Atlus and Nintendo did great to advertise SMT V, I never get tired of seeing trailers or gameplay, from either channel. The amount of love the game has gotten will hopefully open doors for everyone of different audiences to try it out. Really hope everyone enjoys it too

I don't know about you, but I didn't even realize the game had a release date. Apparently, it's also getting a dub? I wouldn't say it's been marketed that well. If it wasn't for me subbed to this channel, and the directs, I wouldn't know anything about it.

@ShadowBocksin i personally don't think it'll be this way with SMT V, after all, IV sold almost 800k copies? And because of the spike in promoting for V, there were crazy sales for older games like Nocturne, DDS, and even Raidou games on amazon. Nocturne HD helped push it as well. Don't worry though, I'm sure V will blow up, after all the wait anticipation its picked up

I've always wanted sinnoh remakes out of everything in Pokemon, but not even those will stop my hype for SMT V, which looks way more promising in every department. I'm hoping that everyone gets SMT V and continues the hype for everyone to play, because the game looks absolutely gorgeous, and honestly deserves the spotlight

Not long now, only 11 days to go. Man, has it be a journey waiting on this game... I won't deny, the early days (what was it, like 4 years ago?) had me worried due to that long silence after a few teaser trailers. But damn did they really nail the silence-breaking comeback. (Still sad that i don't think Morrigan is making a return in this... I'll just crawl back to IMAGINE for that fix.)

This is a day one purchase people no question. Amazing graphics and gameplay. Switch games don't get any better than this.

If you have a 3DS, i HIGHLY advise you to play Devil Survivor Overclocked (remaster of the original one on the DS), it's a great entry to the SMT franchise imo, even though it's a spinoff (its actually a srpg à la fire emblem, but keeps its gloomy themes and demon-fusion gameplay)

@@alexterieur8813 Strange Journey (Strange Journey Redux on the 3ds) would be much closer to the classic SMT experience and is my favorite SMT game so far, if you want something similar to a mainline SMT. That said, Devil Survivor is a fantastic tactics RPG.

I'm so ready for SMT 5. I really hope it sells well - would love to get more Atlus games on the Switch!!

Every trailer I see makes me more hyped for it, haha! Picked a good year to finally check out MegaTen, even if I've only gotten around to the Persona side of things so far - Looking forward to checking out mainline SMT with this one!

My first SMT game was Nocturne back on the ps2. I have never liked an RPG as much as this series. SMT 4 blew me away, and now this one will certainly destroy them all to become the greatest RPG ever! 💀💀💀

Exclusive kill it apparently. Same with MH Rise. A game popularity is based on the system that it is available. Technically, it’s 2021 and yet hardware companies still think exclusive are great to their longer term positions. You might get more ppl attention if it isn’t exclusive otherwise. Pretty much a port is enough. There is no way one system is better than another and only owned one is enough to make ppl believe that they have a better deal. Aside, Nintendo doesn’t own Atlus but for some reasons it’s like an exclusive contract that only available on that system only.

Hyped, not to mention it is coming out on my birthday. Technically also my first experience at a mainline SMT game. SMT Noc remake is the actual first game I played but SMTV is the first "raw" experience. Looking forward to it.

I love all the new and returning features!

These last 2 weeks feels longer then the 4 years ive been waiting for this game. The anticipation is in over my head.

I can look at this for the fiftied time and I still won't be bored. This is just so damn cool

We must praise Atlus for managing to do such graphics on the Switch Hardware, amazing job.

I was like, "Why are they teasing us when there are still so many days left" Then I realized only ten days left. Can not wait!.

So looking forward to this. I loved Tokyo Mirage Sessions and have wanted another one since, and this is probably the closest I'll get to one. It interesting to see how TMS combined elements from the SMT games, and how this new SMT looks like it's taken elements from that now.

SMTIV: Apocalypse was amazing. I Played SMTIII Nocturne in prep for this. And I put a few hundred hours into each Devil Survivor game. I love Shin Megami Tensei.

Im glad they kept this underwrap until they were almost done and launch date isnt too far. I think if they'd continued to provide trailers during the early stages, people would get too impatient. With that said, cant wait for later the 12th!

I'm happy for all the persona fans out there that are about to play their first MegaTen game ! The suspense is killing me !!

While Persona is great and all, mainline SMT (and all its other spin-offs) needs more love from everyone. I’m glad Atlus is doing as much as they are to promote SMTV and roping in new potential fans as they do so.

I’m so ready.

Hard to believe after 4 years this is finally coming out.

Days seems getting slower in anticipatiom for this game!

Some tips for new players to this series: -learn and memorize enemy weakness and strengths, if you dont you will die alot -your choices in the story will determine your alignment (Neutral, Law or Chaos) this will determine what end game demons you will get -save often! Trust me, it would be a shame if you grinded for an hour only to get one shotted by a instadeath spell -also demon fuse whenever possible, build a resilient demon that can survive many attacks as we all as dish out lots of damage, towards the end you will encounter many demons that will one shot you of you dont build yourself and your demons properly Have Fun! Dont die too much! 😁

It appears they nerfed buff/debuff skills pretty significantly in the early game, but are still likely to be a very important mechanic for boss fights. I'd still recommend prioritizing inheriting those skills in demon fusions though.
