This game was the only one remaining to be released from the first Nintendo Switch presentation they did in 2017. Shown the same day with Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild.

@@FelixS. Some sources with good track record inform otherwise (not just so-so leakers). I'm just a hobbyist (though tech professional) myself, but follow these subjects closely. For next Switch release I have been estimating probabilities: 60% for Q4 2022 80% before Q2 2023 99% before the end of 2023. Latest info from a typically accurate informant says it's going to be a true next gen Switch. So not a Pro model of the current Switch. It might also have DLSS 3.0, but that part isn't sure at all. But it's almost certainly based on specialized SoC Nvidia's 5nm (TSMC) Lovelace architecture (downscaled Atlan or 5nm low TDP Orin variant).

Love SMT if you want a challenging but fair turn based RPG this is it

I'm on normal and got jumped by 3 Preta's with their tiny dongs out. I saw the game over screen and laughed. I couldn't recruit any of them for the life of me 😂

Hopefully picking this up today. It’ll be my third SMT game after Nocturne and IV.

@@jdk67 only the first one but I highly recommend it. I also suggest playing Soul Hackers and of course SMT 1 & 2 (even tho they’re extremely old SNES games that can only be played with a English rom). I say play SJR and Soul Hackers first tho since they’re very similar to the first 2 SMT games when it comes to first person dungeon aspects and similar gameplay mechanics (and of course they’re less out dated)

@@jdk67 are asking for Mainline, Spinoffs or Megaten in general. I guess in general it’ll be SMT 4 Persona 1 (its clunky and very dated but I love it) Soul Hackers However if you’re asking for strictly mainline then Prolly SMT 4 SJR SMT 2 (the gameplay extremely dated but has one of fav Megaten stories)

Never played Persona or a Shin Megami Tensai game before but excited to get it for Christmas anyway!

I've been playing this all day almost without pauses. My party is about lvl40 right now (some people say I play fast and efficient) and I can't stop... It's such a good game with a good balanced challenge. Time for an all nighter!

@@kdrfan2150 Katana Zero is a nice short game you should get as well. Breath of the Wild of course is also a necessity for all switch owners.

Can't wait to play this!!! Husband and I are going to fight for the switch for the next three months

If you are disappointed with the new Pokémon games and are looking for a monster collecting with a great difficulty, try SMT, if you like the Persona series, chances are you will also like SMT, if you are a hardcore JRPG fan, SMT is a game almost if not essential for your list

Playing smt 3 now and loving it. This looks amazing

Best game I played this year without a doubt :)

So far, it's been good. The game looks gorgeous and runs really well. They've streamlined some features, like waypoints and an actual mission tab. There's also health and mana orbs laying around you can pick up, but that doesn't make it any less difficult. I'm an SMT veteran and already died a few times. Lmao Can't wait to get off work so I can jump back in and continue where I left off.

Wake up NAHOBINO!!! We got a apocalyptic Tokyo to explore. Seriously though just take the leap of faith and buy it. You won't regret it. My instinct is telling me that this will be the best game on switch. Besides FE three houses.

I’m getting this on Christmas. I still gotta beat SMT 3 Remaster.

Guys make sure to use spyglass on those Mitamas they be changing their elemental exploit at every encounter on Random. Not gonna lie spyglass is actually pretty useful in this game.

Easily one of the best games on the switch.

Best RPG I've ever played, I've spent more than 30 hours and I never felt bored.

On normal it's not hard, you just need to be well leveled and have the right affinities.

I'm loving the game so far! I am disappointed we cannot use the record option. I also noticed screenshots work fine but it doesnt when trying to screenshot Bosses in the Analyze menu. It says "Unable to take a capture now." Only when the Bosses menu is open. So weird Idk if it's a bug or if it was intentional.

As compared to Pokemon? It's a monster collection game but the combat is harder with more depth, they have actual stories, the games a really dark and all have multiple endings that are determined by your own beliefs and philosophical views.
