People are too demanding. I think they forget you're real and not just entertainment. Everything crossed for the beautiful Sherpa, it must be so hard for you. It's horrible when our babies are unwell.

I am Praying for Sherpa. Never under estimate the power of prayer.About 2 years ago My rescue dog Coco had a massive stroke after her bath. I rushed her to the vet hospital. Poor Coco was paralyzed, could barely walk, flopping around. I wrote a prayer request at my church.The very next day my vet was shocked. He said” this is nothing short of a miracle”Coco was completely healed, no paralysis, no signs of a stroke. My vet said they tell you in Vet school a dog can not have a stroke but I say that’s just no true I’ll be praying for Sherpa, Never give up. 🥰🐕‍🦺❤️🙏🏼

Well that shelter was 100% worth doing. I can’t believe he’s uses it all the time like that.

💙💙💙💙💙🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 I have had less than 3 total hours sleep, interrupted. Been at a full blown football match. Awake over 14. Still can't successfully sleep but the good part is I get my Sherpathy (sherpa-therapy) I know someone might troll me for calling it that. Don't fluffin care. I hope the bloods give more definitive insights. Our lovely boy will get the very best once Jamie knows what that best is. Plus he has so many prayer warriors with him. Love you both. Please tell him Lucinda loves him and that I hope he's still allowed to eat steak and sausage rolls 😊😊

Disappointed more in the "supporters" but least I get to stand out and shine being the anomaly. How are you?

Sherpa's look says more than a thousand words. The ears are completely set up. Aww poor fluffy boy with his bandage on his leg. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Blood will be fine despite the antibiotics and that he'll recover quickly. I'm very sure that Jamie will find the best place for Sherpy to get the tooth thing sorted out. Even though I'm shocked about the 3000 pounds, I think every single cent or penny is worth it and it's about health for Sherps. The plant I purchased looks very good and fits wonderfully into the house. I wish you a speedy recovery and everything will be fine in the end. Sherpie’s shelter was the most ingenious idea Jaimie !! He obviously loves it seeing as he sits out there in it in the pouring rain instead of going into the house !! I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again , there is no one I know that does more for his pup to keep him happy & healthy & extremely well cared for & loved than you ! Sherpa is a very lucky boy & he knows it !! ❤🤗❤️🤗

Hi Sandy. Love your comment. Going to a specialist with an anesthesiologist is a great idea. That way if something does go wrong, the doctors are there with the necessary equipment to handle any situation. But I’m positive our fluffy boy is going to be fine. Sherpa is so cute. Poor baby - what a nice, well-behaved dog. No husky cries of his people. I hope his liver enzymes come down and that infection goes away so he can have that nasty tooth removed. Unbelievable, the cost. You do a great job taking care of him and he will get what is best for him given the circumstances.

The plant you picked is called a Spath or peace lily. Put it in bright light, not direct sunlight and NOT with the blinds closed! As a lily, don't let it dry out. Feed it lightly during the growing season and if you want it to keep flowering (again, during the growing season) cut the flowers off at the bottom of the stem, this will stimulate more flowers. Keep the leaves clean. Again, my bill is in the mail.

I can't remember the name of the Vet in Somerset that my brother took his dog to, but they specialise in older dogs and were able to help his 16yr old dog get through a similar surgery - and she lived another 2 years, enjoying life. So good wishes to Sherpa and strength to you, Jamie xx

Thanks for the update on Sherpa's health issues. I know you always make sure he gets the best in life. He is so good at the vets and goes and enjoys his yard and the shed to keep the rain off him. Years ago I had an about 14,5 years old dog with high liver values who had to have a tooth out, and even though Nessie didn't mind going to the vets, to make sure to keep her stress level at a minimum, I demanded to be allowed to stay with her until it basically was her time to start getting anaesthesia. Especially since we had to take her to a more advanced vet hospital than her usual familiar vet clinic, because the other vet hospital had better tools to extract a tooth faster = less time with anaesthesia = better for the liver. I also asked that they came back with her to me as soon as possible. Which they really did, she was still asleep + with a breathing tube in her throat. The nurse sounded a bit worried when warning me about that the voice box (or whatever it's called in English on dogs, bark box?) can automatically react a bit when they pull out that last tube, "but it doesn't mean she feels any pain". I replied that I didn't care what sounds she made, all I wanted was to make sure she knew she wasn't alone in a strange vet smelling place when she woke up. As I had predicted, first thing Nessie started to wake up, before she really opened her eyes, she tried lifting her head and sniffing the air to see if anyone was with her. I held out my hand in front of her nose, and as soon as she smelled me, she relaxed. Of course there's no way of telling whether it really made any positive difference in helping her survive the surgery, but since both her, and the dogs I've had after her, have stayed calm and relaxed with me around at the vets, I can't imagine that it made things worse. So either it helped, or did nothing. Anyhow, just wanted people to know that at least sometimes even old dogs with bad/high liver values can survive going through dentist surgery. Fingers crossed for Sherpa. 🤞

@@SherpasDay Bizarre! :) Husband and elder son are going to a metal concert tonight. I sat out in the sun a few minutes yesterday. It is so borrrrrrrrring!

It's so rewarding for you that he has taken to the shelter you built. Clearly he loves it in there. I feel for you Jamie... You must be very worried about the options regarding his tooth. Poor old Sherpa, he doesn't deserve a single day of illness but he's an old boy now and I guess it's unavoidable that he will have a few problems. Will be keeping 🤞that all goes well and he comes thro treatment OK. He is so loved with his gorgeous old face! 🤗❤️
