Just be proud, normal kids are just playing videogames all day , you have kids with super powers
Aww Jonah built a beautiful basket for that vehicle. I think he was crest fallen when he was reprimanded. He has an amazing talent and tries so hard!

I so agree. I wanted to cry. And Jonah looked like he wanted to cry. But he was abrasive with all the children that day. Sometimes I think he forgets just how blessed he is.
Greetings from Northeast Ohio. Justin, you need to lighten up. Jonah was so proud of the basket he built. You had Ben teach him how to solder. He did an amazing job to build something to make your life easier. He expected praise and should’ve gotten it.

Can tell Justin was stressed out...a little impatient with everyone, about anything. 😝😜😡 Lighten up!
You are so blessed with great kids that work very hard enjoy the moment and do not be so OCD man !! Your boy did a great job on the basket for the 4 wheeler you should have said WOW what a great job and you are very proud of him !!!

Yeah, I remember those moments vividly. I would never build something for my dad after that, he never even used all of the other materials anyway!
Please praise the kids first…then discuss what to do next time…Jonah is wise beyond his years…praise him highly…❤️❤️❤️🐶
Having an adolescent child who Welds a cool box with Your stuff, w/o asking is Awesome. Because he's an independent thinker, self-motivated, and creative. Pssst. He will never stop taking your stuff. We're downsizing (paraplegic husband) and my 26 year old son took my big tv and my refrigerator. He told me I need smaller of both. Lol. I love it and I love my kids!
💕🕊. Happy birthday Lillie. You are a wonderful child.💕🕊blessings. Have a happy healthy year 💕🕊💕🕊🙋🏼♀️
I LOVE that Becca wanted to spray Stud...she said give him a little relief...that is a good heart, thinking of the comfort of animals is angelic!
I understand your oldest used good rebar but wow, he made a very very nice basket for the 4 wheeler. Looks boss

Awwww, Jonah did such a great job on the "basket" and you kind of took the wind out of the boy's sails. He was so proud of his handiwork. Easy Poppa, kids have feelings, too! Love your videos and haven't missed a single one.

@@wesgore8016 Just thought Jonah looked hurt and maybe even a little bit embarrassed being filmed for the world to see. A better choice might have been to have talked about it in private. As parents, kids don't come with a handbook, that is for sure and we have all done things we could have done better. Just sayin'.......
I only heard frustrated and no pride in the work Jonah did on the basket.
MY GD, How hard you all work!! , parents that set such an extraordinary example of dedication to yourselves & your descendants, i am in awe!! ALL of you out there who do this day in day out!
I'm so thankful for these videos, Justin. I have a dream that I'm working towards, and you're feeding my vision just by sharing your life. One day I'll be able to show you my family's farm. Don't think I'm over here just watching videos though. I'm working towards the dream every day.
Jonah, great job on the basket. Justin, debit the cost of the iron to the homeschooling supplies account it was a great learning experience for the boy.
Justin you do a great job. Your kids are great because of the way they have been raised so far. Keep doing what your doing and what you have always done. I know you're used to the opinions of others by now. Don't let it affect what you put in your videos.
Play the video back and look at his face when you chopped him down !!! Come on Justin be thankful you have great kids !

It was heartbreaking. He's a good, bright and very hardworking. Give him a break. Some of his ideas are better than the adults.
I wonder if you held a morning family meeting to cover the days plans, hand out assignments, ask the kids to repeat back what their jobs are and how they will do the job. This will make things more clear, provide an opportunity for questions, and make clear your expectations. A bit more of a routine will help the kids to stay on track. When other issues pop up, everyone pitches in and then returns to their jobs.

I have been trying to get something like a morning family meeting together for years, unfortunately, it always devolves into arguing. It's getting better as they get older tho. You've got a great idea, it's one that's worth the effort!
It's amazing how animals just do what they have to do great job everybody
Justin. So proud of you sticking with the structure. Gideon is going to benefit so much from learning he has to be consistent in completing his assigned tasks. You have been a Saint in demonstrating patience with him.
It looks like Justin has been getting frustrated with all the curves being thrown. But he is handling the pressure very well! I hope I can be as patient with own homestead! -Leo
Poor Justin hollers at his best worker for using. Cheap parts to put together something so useful for him to work with
You can't grow Maggots in cool weather. Hottest time of year is best. Plus set under a tree or in bushes where rain won't drown them lol. Jonah did a fantastic job of building that crate and you deflated his happiness. You have the hardest working children. You need to be kind to them instead of degrading them because he made something that will make Your Life and everyone else easier. How would you of felt if something you did think it was a good thing and then be told all the wrong things you did. Kids have feelings also. Enjoy Clamping lol. Can't wait to see video. Peace from WV
The kids deserve the camp out. They work very hard. As they get older we expect even more from them, and they deserve so much.
I can’t wait for the camping video!! That’s my passion including campfire cooking. Gonna be so much fun. 🤣
Getting closer to a million subscribers! Nice work! 🥰 I have late stage chronic Lyme disease! I love watching your beautiful family! Thank you fir sharing your experiences!
Your kids are doing a great job. Especially making a cage for the mule. The big deal is not doing what needs to be done.
Wow can’t believe this is 1st family camping trip! 😢
lol i was farmsitting, and babysitting a 16 year old for the start of her school year... so you know, the cold months on the farm... and not only didn't i get paid, i bought the feed and never got reimbursed, love ya mom :P
For reference, I'm 31 with my own family and I'm still taking shit from my parents house and asking for forgiveness later LOL! Can't take rebar and wire mesh with ya when you meet your maker😜
You are so blessed and I am enjoying your family and homestead.
Hey Mr brown, that swinging with a perfect landing on to the side-by-side was awesome.

I know goats can mow your yard. And do it pretty evenly!!

I'm excited about going on a family camping trip and I don't have to leave my recliner. Go for it!
It’s a lot of work to go on vacation, especially camping! Have fun!
You set a example when scolding your kids and they learn by example how to do the same to there kids. My step dad was very rude to myself and my brother and I started to do the same to my kids I still catch my self time to time going down that road. (Good for nothing) rings in my head all day and I don't want to look at my kids that way he did that to surprise you and you did a good job letting him know to not try to use expensive stuff and to think! I know you won't read this cause I never seem to get a response but at least I tried.
Have a great time you guy's!🤗👍❤it's been a good day

I believe it is spelled udder. I think if it's your business you should know this. We used bag balm or pure lanolin on our cows.
Great videos Justin good work
So challenging to silence your inner control freak when your son shows initiative.
he never looks sweaty i would be drenched haha
Golden opportunity for a better title Justin! "…..but look what they do do" (doodoo: it's a poop joke)
Me my oldest son harvested our first beef cow this morning
I think you did good ! Let them know what you expect from them, buy hey ! He made a wire basket ! How many kids that age can weld like that ! Maybe have a clip board and he can note on it when he uses your supplies! This way you know what you have on hand ! Then it makes them more accountable!
Whew! This was a whirlwind!
While growing up my Father had a business and he would have us spend the first 30 minutes after brushing our teeth, combing our hair and breakfast cleaning the garage and anything else that needed tidying up, yes we did get paid for it at the end of the week.
You want Jonah to take all kinds of responsability. Now he did. I would just ask him to tell me what I should order next iff I wanna be sure there is enough of it. Tell him what the least amount of stock is.. and maybe ask him iff he would consult you on forehand iff that is important to you..
Do you think if you moved the milking stance first then the cows they might/should get a better clue?????? Try it.🐝👌👌
I've read some of the comments on here and think that many are hinting that you need to get more control over your children. Those in my generation would not have imagined AVOIDING pitching in and not helping. IF YOU DON'T WORK, YOU DON'T EAT.
Look, the fence is in the new basket!
Justin, I watch your videos every day, reminds me of my upbringing, but you owe Jonah an apology for being inventive for the sake of the farm. Try not to kill a growing mans spirit !!!
I home school my children, I was just wondering which one y’all use?
Henri Does more work then Mr Brown. Lol
I will come back!😊
I'm sure there are fly traps that can be moved along with you Cows, either DIY or bought ones to go along with the spray.
make the road around property when you can, where you can, do some more piece meal clearing, do some paddocks out back and the animals will be easier plus less work after initial mountain of work - it is a process - good for you for getting away
Hey Justin sending love as always from California. What kind of tripod do you use??
Curious if you have used and made a poke weed root tincture for lyme?
I saw Rebecca come into screen under a certain lighting, and I think she could really rock corn rolls in her hair and it would be so much less stressful for her. One less chore. Love you all !!! Inspiration on full tilt !!!
We ALWAYS enjoy, Justin! Thanks for sharing!
You sounded so frustrated first thing, then began to calm as your got things done. Would love to see bird's eye view of your place. Unless it's a security issue. Looking forward to the camping video.
I used to fix the cars w my dad . Well I destroyed gi Joe's w tools while he fixed the cars . All I really did was loose the tools ! Kids gotta love em
