Sonic the Hedgehog's rival Shadow has the full year of 2024 dedicated to him. SEGA announced that this is The Year of Shadow! We're getting The Sonic Movie 3, Sonic X Shadow Generations, a real life Shadow motorcycle, and more! This is the most we've seen from Shadow in about two decades, so will it live up to the hype?

He deserves it, one of the most misunderstood video game characters. Called edgy hedgy because of his own game, but most people have not even seen the ending of his own game, and that ending honestly is great.

(SPOILER ALERT FOR GAME) yeah, the ending was good. I liked the way that shadow wasn't the real shadow, the capsule was never found and the real shadow likely died of starvation or something. I think the androids were a cool touch.
So no mention of the fact The SpongeBob Movie 5 was Officially announced on TikTok, including the title, and part for the sonic movie 3 trailer was leaked

I'm so happy that he’s making a comeback, Shadows my favorite sonic character and I know a lot of people hate his solo game and that throughout the years SEGA really botched his characterization of him just being an “ edge lord” but with the movie coming out and with what the description of what CinemaCon showed for the Sonic movie 3 teaser trailer, paramount and SEGA are reviving this character to his true potential. 🦔🖤❤️🏍️

As a Sonic fan, I didn't mind Shadow's game! I loved it. Looking back on it, yeah, it didn't age too well, but for nostalgia reasons, I still love it. I still can't believe it's been 20 years since it came out! If my young self knew back then that a "remake" of Shadow The Hedgehog was happening, young me would have lost his mind! As a kid, I was a massive Shadow fanboy. I'm still a fan of course and looking forward to everything Shadow related! THIS IS THE YEAR OF SHADOW!!!
