Realy important to have a good shadow boxing routine as part of the overall training program. Coach YT showing how crucial it is to have that 'twist' motion as standard. For newcomers like me, shadow boxing in itself is an awesome workout.

Great stuff again coach... I love the way you got the double end bag behind you and you're using it as the 'centreline' for all us boxing students... Somehow, I don't think this is by accident!!!!! I noticed this in your previous videos too. Can you do a show about the 'centreline' and why it's important to be on and sometimes off the centreline like the greats Sandy Saddler and co. used to do? You're making the fundamentals fresh and exciting.

Coach Tom, thank you so much for your videos! This is exactly what I need to work on. Trying to work on incorporating defense into offense and try to make it all flow smoothly. It is truely an art. Most coaches just tell you how long to shadow box for without any instruction. Thank you for breaking it down. My family knows to get out of my way when I start shadow boxing.💪🏼💥

Thank you for the shadow box series! They have been invaluable for us who are confined in small spaces. However, as a beginner I am having trouble differentiating the movement between "rolling with the hook" and "slipping the jab". I try to visualize each punch and I understand in the former we make ourselves small and are "rolling with the direction of the hook" while in the latter we are moving out the way of the jab. But when I get into the rhythm both movements end up feeling and looking the same. Do you recommend focusing on the rhythm for now or should I slow down and focus on being precise with the movement? Again, many thanks for the quality content!

Hi Sir I have a question please I wonder where I should aim to be lined up with opponent? Is being lined up so that I am more on his left side being further away from his right hand ideal? (Orthadox vs Orthadox) So I cut into his left side with jab right hand for example I am wondering if you have any teaching on that line of fire placement (Where do I aim to be lined up with the opponent ideally) I hope that makes sense I appreciate the content Thank you
